Nice spot to sit and relax can also fish aswell permit required and all fish catch and release.  the little road leading down is quite bumpy but easy enough

Nice place to begin a hike on the Union Canal, or a hike into Almondell Country Park.

Good starting point for kayaking, paddle boarding etc.

Well signposted, so relatively easy to find. The track leading down is quite bumpy, so no low clearance cars. Be sure to fork right going down the track too. Once there it is a lovely spot to take in the peace and quiet.
