I'm happy to have French cheese shop in London because they have amazing selection of produce to offer and let's face it , French cheese is one of the best in the world . This is not cheap shop and you cannot expect it to be one because what they have here you won't buy in big stores in England . We talk about original staff here , made in France .
Have been coming here every week for years! Staff are always friendly and knowledgeable. Also have the best cheese selection in London!
The staff exhibited remarkably rude behaviour during my visit. While searching for a specific type of cheese, I found myself blatantly ignored. The individual who appeared to be an employee purposefully averted his gaze when I sought assistance, only acknowledging my presence when I directly asked for help. Regrettably, even after reluctantly providing assistance, the employee failed to display the basic courtesy one expects in a customer-service-oriented environment. The overall experience left me with a sour taste, overshadowing any positive aspects such as product variety. This incident underscores a glaring need for a significant improvement in staff training and customer engagement, as the current approach is wholly unsatisfactory. I hope the management addresses these issues promptly to prevent further instances of customer dissatisfaction.
Exceedingly impolite—arguably the most discourteous staff encountered in any business. Their behaviour towards customers is utterly distasteful. Opted for the adjacent establishment where the options are far superior, coupled with a friendlier standard of customer service.
Best french cheese shop in London! We’ve been going for 5 years and have always received great service. The products are good quality, it’s refreshing to find real french cheese and charcuterie in London. The team is super welcoming, they’ve always made us feel like valued customers and proposed relevant products to our tastes. Jean-Hubert & Vincent are clearly knowledgeable about their products and provenance. Will miss the shop and our weekly visits as we leave London!
Amazing range of French cheese, they always have fresh product at London Borough Market. Staff are extremely experienced and friendly. Highly recommended for people who love authentic French cheese.

An absolute gem in Borough market. The staff are helpful and knowledgeable. Their selection of French cheeses is wide and you will find something interesting there. I specifically enjoyed the Beaufort, the 24 month aged Comte and the brie. These french cheeses have remarkable depth of flavour and you can't go wrong shopping at this fantastic little gem located near to London Bridge station
Great shop for French produce. Love the Gruyere, I've tried different cheese shops but always come back to their Gruyere. Different cheeses are on sale at different times so you can try random ones without spending too much money. The guys who work there are really nice and helpful as well.
Very strange: I wanted to buy a salami made out of bulls meat. The shop assistant kept talking me out of buying it. But I really wanted to try it, as I never had bulls meat, so I insisted and bought the sausage. I went home and surprise it's written on the salami that it's made out of pork instead of bull. Nice one
