Attended the garden plant show which was very well organised. Plenty of free parking and a visitors centre with spotless clean toilets. Within the grounds are beautiful grounds for walking.
Great start to the day at the plant sale... unfortunately things went down hill when we went to the YARNS cafe.....the staff on today, could do with going on courtesy course and trained up on how to be nice to customers....I'm putting it down that the 2 staff on were having 'A BAD DAY'.... also thought it was a tad expensive.
Great spot for walk along the pathway with the stream near bye. Great scenery and wildlife. Really surprised to see reading boxes with books for all tastes in reading. My first time here and looking forward to going again.
Well received by staff at Mossley Mill - just a quick drop in to collect some Planning information and the welcome and assistance was very professional. The building is smart and bright, and it was good to see the successful mix of old and new. Parking is excellent and very convenient to the front door.
Went into the reception, 2 ladies on the counter, not really friendly. Went to ask about birth certificate not my first intention. Didn't bother asking for other information about the Mill, we just walk around the building. Lack of directions and information of the area.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
Attended to register the birth of my daughter after booking an appointment over the phone. The lady in the registry office was extremely professional and friendly which made the whole experience very straight forward. She explained everything very clearly and made the process speedy.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
I only sent about 20 minutes at the museum. You can view the digital film archive which was interesting to see. They had some art in the gallery from one artist with paintings for sale. In the museum you can see the history of the mill and a large weaving machine used. There is a bistro in site and menu looks good and not too expensive.
This was my second visit to the mill, and this time I brought my sister and brother in law as well as a friend. A perfect afternoon to see the grounds, chimney, fishery, memorial garden and woodland walk
Nice day out at the craft fair. Plenty of variety at the stalls. Alpacas to show where the wool comes from. Pleasant harp music. Live spinning demos. Tasty afternoon tea, all good.Visited onWeekendWait time1 hr+Reservation recommendedYes
My Grandfather, G Grandfather and G G Grandfather all worked here. It's a small exhibition but well done and gives a good idea of what their lives were like hard, although the Campbell owners were benevolent to their employees. A superb cafe with good food.Visited onWeekdayWait timeNo waitReservation recommendedNot sure
