Repair undertaken through Churchill as 3rd party claim. Repair work completed to a high standard. The work needed was a new rear bumper due to a rear end shunt. This took 3 weeks to complete! No communication initiated by UK Select as to progress or explanation about the very slow progress of the repair. In summary - good quality work but unreasonably slow with poor communication. Could only recommend if you are happy for them to have your vehicle for weeks. UPDATED after reply. Thank you for kind wishes. Gently suggest that if staff shortages are an issue, don't accept the work, or tell the customer in advance the likely timespan involved.

I took my car in for insurance repairs to UK select. I work in the claims department for another insurer, so I can be quite critical. So here's an honest review. Hold times were short when calling, happy to provide updates, colour matched the car perfectly which is a rarity these days and you wouldn't know it had been in a minor scrape with a wall. They took a few weeks to do it due to delays out of their hands and also a bank holiday weekend, but honestly worth the wait. I had the damage on my car for a while and it was annoying me a little to the point where I wanted to get rid of it after repairs, now its repaired to such a high standard and was cleaned and hoovered, I don't want to get rid! Brilliant job guys
My car was sent here by my insurer after an accident. They picked my car up on time, kept me up to date at all stages, delivered it back and the work was excellent, it looked like it was when it was brand new. These guys are faultless, the work was perfect, genuine parts used, excellent level of customer service, and took the worry of it all away. Thank you.
I recently had to have some bodywork completed on my car following a car accident. My insurance company directed us to UK Select Accident Repair Service Ross on-Wye as they are a recommended repairer. Firstly I must commend this company on their frontline customer service - the lady who dealt with me was so kind, welcoming, helpful, organised and efficient, she had all the necessary paperwork ready for me on arrival and once again on collection when my car had been repaired. During the time my car was being repaired, I was provided with a brand new courtesy car which was such a relief and prevented any inconvienience whatsoever of my day to day life. When I collected my car I was so pleased with the repairs that had been completed and my car was returned immaculately clean and on time. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this garage to anyone and I would undoubtedly return to them in the future if needed. Thank you Uk Select, you made, what was a very annoying and inconvenient situation with my car needing to be off the road until repaired very easy to manage and a positive experience.
Very reluctant one star. UK select have my car for non blame accident damage and on initial return the aircon, which had previously worked perfectly was not working. They claim to have had nothing to do with it, yet confirm that it was neither damaged or leaking and claim that the manufacturer had not filled it!! I realised within half an hour of the car being returned that the aircon didn't work because I am MENOPAUSAL and have a very close and longstanding relationship with my car's air conditioning. I KNOW it was working when it went to them, so whatever happened to degass the aircon, happened on their watch. The accident damage was on the front bumper/body panel. Despite talking to the managing director if indeed he was! I couldn't get any professional response, just denial and an offer of shared cost!? Not only was the air-conditioning newly inoperable when the car was returned but most of the work which I was told had been done, wasn't done at all and, that which was the paintwork was not done to an acceptable standard. I am sorry that they feel that they can deny liability for the aircon issue particularly in the circumstances as I would have then felt that they were a good genuine company but I now need to 'put it out there' for public awareness into the future. I am not a liar this is a problem that didn't exist until UK Select had my car. Reading these other posts I am increasingly afraid of what state I might expect my car to be in when I do, eventually get it back. I will certainly avoid them in the future unless they put this right.
