On the bus back from Chorley Hospital to Penwortham a cpuple of saturdays ago the driver allowed 2 young boys on the bus with their bikes - one had a puncture. He helped them position the bikes in the best/safest position. Then as we reached Penwortham a gentleman on a mobility scooter waved and the driver stopped, pushed the scooter on the bus for him he had a flat battery and told him to say where he needed to get off. What great service. And a thoughtful driver.
Tuesday17th January 2023 19.11 Booths stop 10 people waiting in freezing conditions and snow half of these aged 70+ and 80+ 119 bus arrived at the stop Driver sees passengers waiting but ignores request to stop and drives past NOT GOOD SERVICE FROM TYERERS DISGRACEFUL ATTITUDE BY THEIR DRIVER.
R&B lower school bus 915 was a no show both today and yesterday. Left my daughter in the freezing cold and I pay £9 a week for this. After several phone calls to TYRERS and an hour later they said the driver turned up 11 minutes early and couldn't be bothered waiting and I was told this is one of their very experienced drivers. My daughter missed some of her lessons as a result which has harmed her education and had a negative impact on her attendance record. They just said they would have a word with the driver. So for in excess of £300 in fees per year this is how they treat our children. They wouldn't even entertain my request for some kind of remedy. We will not be using this bus service or any service run by Tyrers EVER AGAIN and other parents I spoke to feel the same.
Brilliant clean coaches with lovely reclining seats that had 2 usb ports on the back nice sized loo also. Tyrers were used as transport from Manchester to Wembley for the Tyson fury fight over the weekend and the coaches arrived on time, drivers were sound people and couldn't fault the coach or people
I catch the bus Monday to Friday and it's pure torture. In the mornings it's ok but can be risky sometimes and in the afternoon it's always around 30 minutes late. We have emailed the company multiple times and it's the middle of winter! It went past me once went past 2 friends twice and it's not good. We are expected to wait outside in the freezing cold every night. Not happy tyrers. Sort it out please
