Excellent night with the over 50s footballers. The staff couldn't do enough for us. Food was first class as it usually is, as I've been before... Especially the kebabs and the chops.. We'll be back soon...oh, the beer went down very well too.. Wheelchair accessibility: Looked accessible to me.
New owners have resurrected the old pub name. They've also brought back good service with a smile. Food choice is excellent and plenty of it on your plate. Good quality too. Good range of hand pumped beer. We will go again.Food: 5/5
We visited AC pressure washers and they recommended The Ridgeway Arms. So we followed our satnav and found it easily, the decor was lovely and the food was top quality, we loved it. All of the staff were friendly and fantastic. Next time we visit AC pressure washers we will call again for another meal. Such a shame it's 2 and a half hours away from our home. Thank you for such an amazing experience.
Nipped in here, on the way back from an appointment, for a late lunch. Lovely smart but relaxed decor and friendly welcome. We only wanted a light lunch, soup or a sandwich, but no luck. Settled for a "meat sharing platter" and, despite being the only customers, it took ages to get our food. The food was hot, well presented and tasty but an odd mixture of pate on toast, ribs, wings etc. Some gentle background music might have helped us feel less conspicuous but pleasant enough in the end.
Came here for a wake after a family funeral. The food was best I've ever had at a wake. The staff were attentive and accommodating. Despite the sad circumstances I recommend a visit if you're in the area.Food: 5/5
14 of us had lunch. Service and quality was decent. Loads of choices - almost too many! Everyone enjoyed their food which arrived fairly promptly for a large group.Food: 4/5
First time I've dined here since it re opened. A good variety of food and drink on offer at reasonable prices. The food was nice and staff are friendly and helpful
We came here today for a late lunch and we had polite & friendly service and the food was hot and superb. Warm restaurant and a lovely window seat overlooking green. Thanks. We’ll be back soon.
Absolutely brilliant food. Best I've had in a long time. Really nice staff, on the ball. Straight over to ask for drinks. We will be coming back. Very enjoyable evening.
Disappointed, waited half hour for our food and had to ask how long it would be to be told they thought we ate it !!!! It arrived 5 mins later , Turkey was out of the foil tray so not fresh & carrots & green beans frozen, very small soggy value Yorkshire pud , potatoes were the nicest and the gravy , never came to ask if everything was ok with our meal either , wont be going again too expensive for a frozen dinner
