Absolutely lovely park, nice little cafe that's not extortionatly priced. A little dog drinking area with bowls provided and poo bags available. A tap to fill your own bottle of water which is free and not too far from the beach.
What a lovely place to stroll around, and it's spotlessly clean. Steeped in history. The area is exceptionally well maintained by council gardeners. The tea rooms have tasty assorted scones that's all we've tried so far, and assorted coffee, all at great prices and served by a happy, helpful young lady. We'll certainly be back and suggest anyone give this place a visit, if they haven't already. Restrooms: Spotlessly clean. Dog-friendliness: Plenty of bins, if required.
Lovely lovely park. Great place to just sit or walk around. Not a huge space but large enough. Well looked after by the council & one of our best places to walk the dog. Highly highly recommended.
Mu local Park... Never get tired of going there... We'll maintained and a lovely little cafe available on site Playground: Enclosed and secured ay ground availablr Dog-friendliness: Love beeing able to walk my dog through the park. He has very good recall so leave him off the lead. Most people walking their dogs in the Park are very responsible owners... Apart form some mess being left behind. I often clean up after them!!
Beautiful park with lots of wildlife to observe, if you look carefully. Play park for kids is great and lovely cafe which is dog friendly. Best Park in the area by far. Playground: Safe, dog free area with lots of equipment for the kids Restrooms: Clean and well maintained Dog-friendliness: Dogs welcome everywhere in the park apart from children's play area.
This is a lovely, well kept, clean park, with a lake, bandstand, cafe and plenty of seats. Quite a few steep slopes, but great for a walk or run, if you're fit enough.
Lovely little park, ideal for taking the dog for a walk, also with a nice playground for kids. There is also a cafe with outside seating area and toilets.There is a small pond in the centre of the park and a bandstand. Plenty of seats and the park looks nice when all the flowers are in bloom.
A lovely park, super clean, great day out for family! Lovely little trails through the woods and also has access to a cafe! Lots of wildlife too!
Great place for walks, plenty of seating, cafe, toilets , play area for kids and lots of quirky and interesting things to see .
I'd never been before the other day but it is so beautiful. Really well looked after with lots of places to explore. There's sculptures, fairy doors, a nice play park and a pond with ducks. I didn't get a chance to try out the cafe but it's in a lovely location.
