Morpeth is a small town yet it gets lots of services to places like London, Edinburgh, Penzance, Reading, Glasgow, Birmingham etc. which makes no sense. The station is grotty and cramped with no waiting facilities and only a small toilet and ticket hall. The ticket machine is always broken and staff are rude. Avoid.
