I got signed off the community team because I wouldn't engage with them about leaving my flat aspergers, scared of people . Now i get a phone call every 3-4 months from a doctor I've never met to check if I'm still alive
I was seen rapidly and appropriately during the early weeks of the covid pandemic by Ty Einon when I experienced a severe manic break & was diagnosed with bipolar disorder. I also received several follow up video consults. I have had a good experience with advice given, follow up & medication change liaison with my GP when I experienced adverse side effects on the meds initially prescribed after my inpatient stay at Cefn Coed. I think this clinic is doing the best it can with ever diminishing resources & increasing patient population & complexities.
Makes a change from not so good reviews but I found Ty Einon to be thorough, empathetic and very helpful, I'm very grateful
They diagnosed me with ptsd and they have done nothing for me for 3 years I phoned them and the woman was shouting down the phone and said she can't do anything for me and hang up on me I phoned back and went through to another woman and said she hang up because i was shouting at her and blamed me they are liars. if I could put zero stars I would they are useless and need to close coz the don't help
As much as I want to put my trust into Ty Einon, I cannot. Their lack of communication is beyond awful, and don’t expect much from them to get back to you after leaving a message. I find one of the secretaries under my assigned psychiatrist very blunt and rude and not helpful at all, and have avoided her now due to this, don’t expect any form of reassurance or for her to even know who to contact in terms of crisis. Considering two points of access’ had been sent across, and two further a&e visits due to crisis point, there is no assigned CPN. Severe improvements need to be made to ensure their patients are cared for in the correct manner.
Awful place, no one answers a phone, they promise to get back to you but don't, then after chasing them for months, they put you on a 6 month waiting list for an online group... I'd give them zero stars but 1 seems to be the minimum... I've come to hate everyone that works there, they are all lying, uncaring people, who are looking for any reason to get you off the waiting list...
I'm sad to see the reviews by people who I would think don't have a long experience with mental health in Swansea. There was a time I would have agreed not great, but in the past 3 year it has improved. Also remember that virus thing in last 2 years well as with everything they had to change how things were done. The funding doesn't seem to be there and think it must be as hard for them as us to deliver a service that they would love to give. Money money money shame the unseen forgotten illnesses.
Dont even know where to start. I am so ill and i am so much worse since being involved with TE. My original mental health problems seem second now to the mental health issues i have developed sinve being involved with TE. I have been blocked from accessing therapies and medication. I have a support plan worth as much as toilet paper. I have been so unwell for over 6 months with cptsd symptoms and trying to manage it by myself and i cant anymore. I havent been able to get out bed for two weeks or leave this one room and everyday i have to struggle so hard to not end it all and its getting harder. I truly believe TE pushed me to this point. I cant even speak to them now without getting violently ill for days. Its very frightening how ill they make me feel. The doctors and support staff dont understand mental illness at all. One day I heard the receptionists laughing and nastily joking to doctors about one of the patients in another room 'faking it for benefits'. I told the doctor i heard what was said as he left the door open and he replied 'ok you shouldnt have overheard that i will have a word with them to shut the door in future'. I was so stressed and upset by the whole experience i ran down the road and almost got hit by a bus. I had felt okay going in there and thats the state i left in. I was ill for weeks afterwards I have been to that building several tomes over 8 years begging for help. Actually crying and begging and pleading with them to help me. Ignored. Sent away. No empathy. No care. Iver the years they took everything from me that i was still managing myself. My hope, health, dignity, privacy, sanity and probably end up paying with my life soon. They are scum of the worst kind because they mess with your head. The very reason why you go there for help. I jnow this is long but i want to record what was done to me by this organistion and its tip of iceberg. I know these reviews are ignored as the ramblings of mentally ill ty einon happy to use that label when it suits them but i want it logged some of what they did to me and to warn others that if you end up feeling suicidal as a result of ty einon, your not alone in this experience. They make you feel like dirt and are good at gaslighting and using your mental health against you when it suits them. Try to get help somewhwre else. I know optikns are limited but speak to your doctor. I dont have my own gp doctor anymore thanks to TE. But when i did he helped me for years and i am struggling without my doctor. But if you have a decent doctor go to them. Dont kill yourself because of ty rinon as they will cover it up and noone will care.
Terrible place to be under if you have any mental health problems. The secretary need training in answering phone calls attitude is unacceptable. If you need to see the your Dr leave a message never rings back or a voicemail with the secretary. Very unpredictability the worse place I've been under I'm going to look into making a complaint to the NHS in how they run things they never read my notes a Dr S has to be the worst psychologist I've ever seen. There will be a massive investigation that I need to get done waste of NHS money
Absolutely useless, can't even get them to answer the phone, dont even phone back when you've left numerous messages and they can hear how distressed you are. I could be all day with my list of complaints. So bad iv put in a formal complaint to the NHS about them. This is what everyone should do and perhaps things will improve.
