Absolutely useless. They sent me back to the waiting list after they cancelled an appointment. Been going back and forth with them for over a year. Got two ongoing referrals for some reason and need to explain everything they’ve done wrong every time I’ve called only to be promised a call back that never happens.

If I could give it 0 then I would.nI have mental health issues alongside a recent brain injury and I am SO LUCKY that I have a supportive mother and am working with a brain injury unit elsewhere because if I was only relying on myself and Ty Einon then I would have had a major issue and be in a psych ward or dead now.nI've had them ring up claiming I have an appointment 'right now' that I've not attended, even though I've never received notice of this supposed appointment AND I've rung up consistently to chase up when my next appointments would be. They then claim to have sent letters, so I've triple checked my address and still these letters don't come - my neuropsychiatrist from the brain injury unit has even had trouble getting hold of people from Ty Einon.nI was diagnosed with something by one of the doctors here and referred to a specialist - this specialist, alongside other doctors, disagree with this diagnosis but for some reason my psychiatrist at Ty Einon the one who diagnosed me, refuses to check over this or consider it may be a misdiagnosis even though I only see her once every 6-12months but see/saw the other specialists weekly/fortnightly! In addition to this, as a child I was diagnosed with a disorder that I saw a specialist for throughout my childhood the diagnosis was reconfirmed in my adulthood and so I said to my psychiatrist that I reckon most likely my issues stemmed from that disorder as opposed to this new one she diagnosed me with as many traits overlap but instead of considering she could be wrong she is now calling into question if every other doctor I've ever spoken to even the ones she referred me to are incorrect and she is the only one who is correct so - yeah, I can't deal with them at all.nI've expressed that I feel uncomfortable with this doctor and they did send me an appointment with someone else only for me to find out on the day that I was seeing the doctor I am uncomfortable with instead!!!nnAfter my experiences and after seeing the reviews here, I honestly believe that some people who work here enjoy taking advantage of mentally unstable people or at best blaming their inefficiency at their jobs on people with mental health issues - for example those letters I supposedly received; I genuinely questioned myself for a while about that because my memory could be bad after my brain injury and they were so adamant they sent them - but eventually when pressed for proof they were unable to provide it but I was so upset that for weeks they made me feel like I was losing my mind when in reality someone on the admin team was too lazy to type and send them.nnMy mother had an 'up-to-date' care plan sent to her that was 5 years out of date so big things that were happening in her life at the time had ceased 5 years prior but the plan was written as if it was all current and she raised this with them, they said someone would contact her in 2 weeks - that was 5months ago. Still haven't heard anything.nnI find the reviews on here incredibly upsetting to read because some people do not have the support I currently have and I've been in that place where I didn't have it and to then have to deal with people like those who work at Ty Einon - I don't know that I would be alive or sane in any way. I think not only are there some people in particular on the admin/reception team who get joy from messing with mentally ill people, but that Ty Einon as an establishment only serves to make already ill people even worse and I would not be surprised if their actions/inaction has caused people to take their own lives who could have been saved with appropriate care if Ty Einon had provided it.nIt's not a case of a patient spiraling whilst awaiting help, it is that THIS place Ty Einon directly contributes to a patients' deteriorating mental health - the way that this place operates can play a very active part in worsening someone's issues or pushing them over the edge out of desperation for help.
Absolutely disgusting service who don’t care about people with mental health, all useless nobody’s who aren’t capable of providing a good and healthy service for their patients. This is one of the worst mental health places to exist I will be putting in a complaint higher up. Told me I was due a call on Monday from dr Lloyd then proceeded to tell me over a week later he’s only on once a week and I had a planned consultation with to confirmation or letter.
Absolute disgrace of a mental health team. I've been diagnosed with ptsd and missed one app after my diagnosis and starting medication and i was discharged because I forgot my app was that day. Joke of a place. Healthboard should review how they operate and how they treat their patients
