We had a lovely meal yesterday. The cheese burger and fries were the best I've eaten. Hubby had the liver and bacon which he said was delicious too. The two desserts we had were scrumptious. We will certainly go there again. The waitress was so nice and very attentive although only been working there a short while. The total bill was surprisingly reasonable considering it was all handmade.
We had a large group for a Christmas dinner and it was great. The food was terrific and service superb! We will definitely be back next year. Very good value too!

A lovely Sunday lunch and back for two great evening meals over the week we stayed nearby on holiday. The food was delicious and the staff wonderful. I can't fault it. A great place for a relaxed meal and a few drinks with the family and our two dogs. We'll definitely be back again when next in the area. Thanks for making us so welcome.
The food was enormous! The Sunday roast was amazing. Great country pub, that allows your dogs to come in. Good wine, great staff. Ellie was a delight and helped me choose what Sunday roast l should go for. Good wine. Great pub! My friend had beef l had pork.
First time going to the restaurant. Service 10/10 - staff so friendly, always smiling, polite and cheery. Food 9.5/10 - solid, delicious, tasteful highlight was the salt and pepper squid. Lovely little place. Would highly recommend if your in the Hastings area.
What a lovely and pretty little pub. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Food was very good and the outdoor beer garden is great. Very relaxing atmosphere. Really enjoyed it here.
Lovely home cooked meal - large portions. Tables were set in a way that although the restaurant was busy you didn't feel on top of each other. Would recommend
The food was excellent and the staff very helpful. This is a very busy pub and therefore some dishes are not always available. However, I cannot fault the food or staff. It was especially convenient as only a short walk from the caravan site.
A traditional English pub and Public House. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. Food was excellent and the service was very responsive.
