Just spent a couple of hours in Twenty9 for the first time buying my wife some birthday presents. The staff are so nice and super helpful. and They seemed to get exactly what we were after a quick chat and even let my wife try on one of their personal jumpers as they did not have the size. They had the best knitwear offer of any ladies boutique we've visited in The Midlands and we bought three knits ! The childrens offer is equally impressive.. Awesome !

Diffusion and twenty 9 shops selling real fur!!! Looking at a fur coat in a glossy magazine or a store window, you might not realize that animals were beaten, electrocuted, or even skinned alive for their skin!!! Fur Fact 1: Electrocuting fur-bearing animals anally and genitally is an agonizing slaughter method used frequently to limit damage to fur. New York is the only state in which this inhumane method is illegal. Fur Fact 2: Eighty-five percent of the fur industry‘s skins come from animals who were captive on fur factory farms, where they are crammed into severely crowded, filthy wire cages and later often skinned alive. Fur Fact 4: One billion rabbits are killed each year so that their fur can be used in clothing or for lures in fly-fishing or trim on craft items. Fur Fact 8: After an animal has been slaughtered, his or her skin is treated with toxic chemicals to keep it from rotting and decomposing in the buyer’s closet. How do you like your fur coat now?!? Shame on you, the ones selling coats like that, and shame on you, the ones paying good money for them!!

Selling fur coats and making profit from pure animal cruelty is disgusting. Your store is feeding members of the public with misinformation, Coyote fur used on Canada Goose jackets are not a byproduct of the meat industry, the geese are plucked alive every 6 weeks or so for there down, this is certainly NOT ETHICALLY SOURCED. You simply can not ethically 'leg trap' an animal that can be left for days, only to be then shot in the head at point blank range and then skinned 'humanely'. I spoke to your staff who told me the coats are a meat by product and the fur is ethically sourced and humane, ARE YOU SERIOUS??? When I explained to them how they were actually made they said speak to our head office, they also said the Canada Goose jacket was their biggest seller and were quite proud of the fact. Then a member of staff came in wearing said coat! You are selling these coats based on lies people need to know the truth. You really are the lowest of the low.

They use real fur at this store. That’s the body of a lovely and innocent being who had its life stolen unnecessarily. It could have had a happy life, but had their bodies ripped to shreds cruelly and tortuously for the financial benefit of the oppressor. Please choose to shop elsewhere, it will literally help save lives and kill one of the most abusive industries around.

I’m shocked and horrified to see that this shop is selling real fur trim coats. The process of producing this fur is absolutely disgusting. I think you should show a video of the conditions these animals are kept in. Their fur being ripped from their bodies. Sometimes these animals are still alive and die in horrific pain. Just so you can sell hats with Pom Poms on and a fur trim around a coat.
