My daughter attends zoo club, she loves it and returns every school holiday. The staff are friendly and helpful. The parking is great. Could do with better (larger) refreshment facilities though.

What an absolutely brilliant little hidden gem this place is. We took out Under 11's & Under 12's rugby teams to do some outward bound and team building activities. The instructors were first class, very patient and knowledgeable. The kids got so much out of the day, we will definitely be going back. Very good value too at around £10 per child for a full day.

Plenty to see and do, as well as the animals there is a woodland walk along the river, tea room, various gardens, visitor centre, activity centre (part year) and picnic areas. My nearly 5 year old had a great time.

Very clean and well run. Make sure to also explore the grounds and riverside walk. My children loved it.

Too cold to enjoy. Didn't get a chance to pet one animal. Would go back in the summer time.
