The staff are extremely professional and friendly especially "Jay".  The service is exceptional.  Dining at Tropics Grill and Bite felt like I was back in the Caribbean.  I would highly recommend it, whether you are dining in or ordering take out, the quality of the food remains the same.  It is also very convenient and close to Brunel University so it's a nice way of enjoying a good hot meal on a cold day.  Highly recommended and rated 5 stars for service, quality and taste.

A little piece of the Caribbean.  I was so surprised to finally find Caribbean food that matches up with real Caribbean cooking. Absolutely delicious, soul food.  If you’ve never closed your eyes in delight after having a mouth full of food, try this place.

First and last unfortunately! Waited over 2 and a half hours then the order was wrong and the food we got was not on point anyway!!! Was offered a free meal next time and the corrected order arrived INCORRECT with a free meal GOD GIVE ME STRENGTH.
I do wish this company well but polite customer service does not pay the bills. Caribbean takeaways just can't get their 'home delivery $&@£ together and they pre-cook most of the food so no excuse I'm afraid😕
I do hope Tropics take this as constructive criticism and channel it positively for a more professional result... 5 out of 10 for food taste 1 out of 10 for delivery service 10 out of 10 for customer liaison however someone needs to be in the restaurant able to make decisions in the owners absence at all times or the illusion e.g "I will get the manager to call you back within 10mins' should be instilled to ensure a seamless service the customer shouldn't have to teach granny how to suck eggs😑

So this isn't the first time we have ordered from grill and bites. Unfortunately it may be the last, every time we have ordered they either haven't got the food in stock or the food doesn't arrive within the time stated. This time 2 separate orders were placed through just eat to be delivered to the same address...when the driver arrived he didn't have any change and said to call the restaurant to get a discount on the next order, we told him no as we didnt know when we would order. So I had to call the restaurant to cancel my just eat order and place the order over the phone, the restaurant had the cheek to charge 50p for using card over the phone. Reluctantly I paid it as the order was there. Then we asked if he had the 2nd order and he said he didnt. When I spoke to the restaraunt they said they never sent it out as they didn't have sweet potatoes fries (no surprise there) but the order was in the shop still...so we had little choice but to go and collect the order from the store. As we had paid delivery charge through just eat you would have thought the restaurant would be decent as say "have 2 drinks in place of the deliver charge"...no they ummm'd and ahhhh'd and said we couldn't have 2 comes because it costs more...listen the food is nice but the customer service is shocking! As a black carribean person  (as are my friends) I am embarrassed for this restaurant...the food isn't enough to retain customers and although it is working now your cards will run out soon...dont let another black business lose out due to sheer blackness.. .please fix up...i would have loved to give you 4/5 stars but I've had this experience several times now and it just ain't good enough

Ordered the curry goat never had such a bland carribean takeaway standard has dropped since we last ate there. Will never go there again.
