Just visited this shop and got my second scope staff very friendly and helpful. Will definitely be getting my next scope or upgrades from here. Shame that when I got home it started raining
Highly recommended. Just getting started out and no matter how much you read there is nothing like face to face expert advice. The team here have offered lots of wisdom, spot on buying guidance including not needing to buy expensive items that I thought I needed and a friendly service. Good prices on everything and lots of kit to look over call them and arrange a time to drop in. Proper friendly local outfit.
Excellent service and will use again. Telescope arrived in good time and communication with Tring Astronomy Centre was really good.
Purchased a Celestron telescope, which developed a fault less than a year in. Jane from Tring was fantastic and so helpful!! The scope was picked up within a week & send back to Celestron who had a new one delivered straight to my door in no time. Very impressed how smooth it all went.
Great showroom to visit, plenty of equipment on show, very knowledgeable. Definitely recommend them to everyone.
Took our 9 year old daughter here as she loves everything to do with space. Welcomed into the shop with a warm smile and the exceptional customer service carried on from there. Total newbies to telescopes so we had explained in detail the differences and what would be suitable for our daughter. Lovely family run business, will be back for some accessories for the telescope we bought.

Purchased a spotting scope for birdwatching. Tring Astro had what I wanted at a good price. The people here are lovely, attentive, knowledgeable and not at all pushy - really a pleasure to deal with. Wholeheartedly recommended. A business well worth supporting.
