Always my place for cod and chips here in Eastbourne, nice staff, good atmosphere, food quality is stable and getting better and better over time, now my best fish restaurant that I always bring my family and friends to for a good dinner. Cheers
Amazing and fresh food. The best fish and chips we had. Amazing service, friendly staff. The food was delivered quickly and hot. Very nice place, clean and very well organised. Good prices. Highly recommended. We will definitely be back on our next Eastbourne trips. Thank you.
We fancied a last minute fish and chip supper. Fantastic gluten free options. I had the cod and chips and my better other the rack of ribs, washed down with Prosecco and followed by a delicious mint bomb and gluten free sticky toffee pud. All in all delicious but a little pricey. Dietary restrictions: Fabulous gluten free options, which we actually now prefer on battered fish, thank you for giving us multiple options
Amazing basically, considering how busy they were on a Friday and Airbourne weekend it was surprisingly quick. Great quality and if you're gluten free it should be your first choice. The only problem we had was one of the sausage and chips had to be gluten free but when we got home we couldn't tell which one was which. Not marking down for that even though my mother in law ended up with just chips, just one of those things on the day and something to make sure of next time.
Fast and efficient service, even when it was very busy. Chips had a fluffy yet crunchy texture which was great, coupled with large and fresh-tasting fish. Also there's a fair bit of parking outside so you can pick up your order and take them to the cliff tops or beach side to enjoy. Kid-friendliness: Plenty of choice for kids, from smaller portions to kid specials and a large choice of drinks too Parking: Street side parking bays with minimal restrictions.
Delicious fish, would have preferred skinny chips but no choice. Helpful friendly staff. Good value and the main item of fish was fantastic.
Went out for fish and chips with a friend in Eastbourne, somewhere we had not been before, excellent Haddock , The Trident fish restaurant. Old Town.
What a fab find we both had cod with chips. Fish cooked perfect brilliant chippy chips.must not forget mushy peas and curry sauce both fab.lovely clean modern restaurant .serving staff brilliant very welcoming and attentive.it was our first visit but definitely not our last.trawlers of Seaford take note because this is a proper fish and chip and the best in the whole of England.goodbye trawlers hello Trident.
Chips were fine but cod lacked flavour and the batter was so well cooked and hard at the ends I had to remove it to eat the fish.
I like my chips done a bit more than they are usually done and they were happy to oblige. Lovely fish and chips had by all. Their large cheeseburger was very satisfying too.
