The head mechanic of TREVOR HUSBAND MOTORS said my old vauxhall astra needed a partial new exhaust. Having no knowledge of these things I trusted him. The front footwell panels were forced out of place in the course of the repair. I had to ASK the Head mechanic to fix them back into place as it was impossible for me to drive with the panels blocking the foot pedals. After much grunting he pushed the driver's side back. The passenger side was never fixed! The terrible blowing sound from the exhaust which only appeared after the REPAIR would disappear after 150 miles, I was told. Although concerned I accepted his assurance as truth, after all as head mechanic he was the expert and I knew nothing. So I trusted him. The noise continued. I waited for it to deminish. It never diminished. I booked the car in for its MOT. Trevor Husband failed it!. They failed their own work!!! The head mechanic was strangely unavailable for comment when I collected my FAILED car, although he was there when I brought my car in. His colleague who was left to deliver the results was clearly uncomfortable. I TRUSTED these people. I expected them to treat me fairly and honestly. I did not expect the treatment I received. Trevor Husband had a great reputation. He would be appalled and would not endorse what happened to me. The thing is when you treat people with contemptuous disrespect don't be surprised when it catches up with you. Was it worth it?
Bought two cars from THM- both transactions smooth, the gents were personable. My first car I bought from there was an old polo, a d just like other reviews state, the old gal had a mot, service and new brake pads. I got rid of the car a year later but in that time had no issues. Since then I had car of the same year from another garage and nothing but bother from them and the car. I then decided to get a newer car, one previous owner and only three years old........poor decision......it fell apart as soon as 1 month. Luckily it was under warranty. Two years on and it continued to fall apart. So I decided to go back to THM and got the same wonderful service and I am so happy with my newest car. Because I'm so happy, I will be using THM for MOT's moving forward.
I took my car in for an MOT and service. They did a very good job carrying it out with no fuss and got it done in good time and even fixed my bonnet clasp which had dropped down, thanks!

Bought a car from Trevor Husband Motors on finance 2 weeks ago. They put a fresh MOT on it the day I picked it up and serviced it before I picked it up. 2 days after I picked it up a glow plug broke and they took it back and fixed it immediately with no fuss. I will definitely go back to them next time I buy a car. The finest service. Thank you.

Have used this garage for many years and have never been disappointed. Their prices are good and can usually get you in within a few days of calling. They don’t rip you off like main dealers so I would highly recommend.

Made two email enquiries about a Hyundai 800 at £10000 as it failed the Hpi finance check. Never replied Tony enquiry so I called and it was sold. Wouldn’t have been difficult to email and say it’s sold. I know they won’t care but obviously they have now lost a customer with £10,000 cash.
