Recently bought a car from Hartwell Scunthorpe. Went through both Shane and Alan who were fantastic! Gave solid advice while choosing a vehicle and took the time to make sure the one I went with was the right one! Everything regarding finance was explained in detail and made easy to understand. Couldn’t recommend them enough!
Went into the stores. At Scunthorpe and got new batteries fitted in my key fobs . Looked around the second hand cars and saw a ford puma for sale Alan come out and asked me if I needed any help. Test drove it said I would back after the weekend my wife had not drove a auto matic before Alan instructed her we then bought it
What can I say, recently purchased a kuga from Hartwell scunthorpe, I explained to Alan&shane my vehicle needs , they came up with a lovely Kuga, which i absolutely love and it meets all my needs, these guys really know there stuff. I was introduced to the service team for when I have my service done, I really cannot complain about my experience at hartwell , well professional from start to finish, thanks Alan for collecting me to get my new car also thanks Shane for the lovely coffees and explaining everything in simple terms, I will never use another dealer to purchase my vehicles again thanks again guys

Had a fairly good experience of buying a used car found a few faults with my car but they managed to get them sorted after about 4 visits back to the dealership. Communication seems to be the biggest let down when trying to talk to the right person over the phone but overall I would give them 7 out of 10.
Recently purchased a vehicle from Hartwell Scunthorpe. Found Alan Sales Exec to be helpful and professional. At no time did I feel pressured. Nice bloke, clearly proud of the services provided. I would recommend. Lance.
To begin with, the work/service/MOT was done in Grimsby and NOT Scunthorpe. Don't know why I have been registered as Scunthorpe! The service on my vehicle was done under the 3 years "service plan" I have paid for monthly since 2019. When I dropped my vehicle off I was told by Jordan that he could not find the record of my service plan but allowed me to leave while he looked into it. Within the hour, Jordan phoned me to tell me that he still couldn't find my service plan and did I still want to go ahead with the service or just the MOT!! I was most annoyed, to say the least and when I insisted that I was still paying for it, he suggested that maybe I was paying for something else, like gap insurance and also if I could prove it with showing him my bank details to prove it!! After much argument, I left him to sort it out. Needless to say, it was me who phoned back, not him, to find out what was happening and was told that they were going to go ahead and service my vehicle, as if they were doing me a favour!! As I pointed out, so what you are actually doing is honouring the agreement! When I collected my vehicle, it was the cleanest Hartwell Ford Grimsby have ever made it, even though it is included in the service plan! In previous years, even last year, I had to argue again, to have it cleaned, not using covid as an excuse!
Just bought our new car from here and I would like to say thankyou to Alan for making our car buying experience easy and stress free, he was very polite, friendly and professional . Highly recommended
Recently contacted Hartwell Scunthorpe as I needed a new family car. Being a car enthusiast I wanted something a little bit extra, without it costing a lot in fuel. I left Alan in sales with the task of finding something that ticked all the boxes and he did just that. After roughly a month of searching, he found me the perfect fit. A 2019 Focus ST-Line X 182 Estate came up for sale. It had the extra flare I was looking for without jumping straight towards an ST. My Husband and I picked up the car and fell in love with it instantly. So far we've had it for about a month and done nearly 2,000 miles in it. It is by far the best purchase we've made in a long time! Thank you Alan and the rest of the team at Hartwell Scunthorpe!
