Rang up to get a price for brake pads and discs, was quoted £130 and I booked in for a Friday morning. Upon arrival at reception I was told by the man who worked there that he had been looking at my booking earlier that morning and that he was on holiday while the quote was given to me. He then said it would in fact be £175 and that no where in town would do it for the better price! My problem is surely anyone who works there can give quotes while the manager is away otherwise tell them not to. Also he could have had the courtesy to just ring me and let me know before i arrived. Never again!!! (Managed to find a good garage elsewhere on the same morning who did it for £132)

Excellent service and MOT on my old Honda Civic. It isn't worth paying the main dealer price for servicing anymore so I've been trying various local services/garages for the last 3-4 years.  After the service from Ashby Auto Care the car is running better than at any time during that period; and all for a reasonable price too.
