Place is rather run down. The hot water is going hot and cold. Unless if you want to experience shower anxiety, I suggest you look somewhere else. The only best thing is that there's a Starbucks right next door. Not the best coffee but better than nothing.Rooms: 1/5
Old rooms ,broken sockets definitely gives you the impression that is some sort of highway cheap hotel.Nice staff trying to be helpful but the rooms are quite bad
Overall terrible experience. I'm very well versed on budget accommodation and don't expect the ritz, but this has to be the worst stay I've ever had within Europe! The good; - Starbucks on the doorstep - Parking is good - Staff The bad - Water pressure non-existent and up/down - Shower going from scolding hot to freezing - Mould galore, some has been painted over but isn't fooling anyone. - Dampness throughout. This includes carpet, around window, on walls, ceiling, etc. - The overwhelming smell caused by the damp. I had to wash spare clothes that were not used as they even stank! - Carpets bleach stained in several spots I would always prefer to leave a good review over bad but this can't be ignored, surprised its still trading, if this was rental accommodation it wouldn't be fit for humans/dogs!
Last minute stay overnight. Lovely and warm, comfy bed and free WiFi. The staff were welcoming and friendly. Good breakfast in a box.Rooms: 5/5
On this visit nothing to comment, only that there was no bin in the room. They're being cleaned and ours was overlooked. Otherwise all okay. There's a Greggs and McDonalds only 1 minute away unless you want to pay silly prices at Starbucks. Also in the town is a very good cafe called Mols Bistro, highly recommended.Rooms: 4/5
The room needs new carpet dirty and stained badly also smelly. Bath taps had not been cleaned and bath not very clean either show rail full of rust. Tea stains on top of kettle which hadn't been cleaned also poor quality of pillows very disappointing.Rooms: 1/5
The location is good esp. when traveling with young kids. Star bucks in the parking lot and McD and Gregg's at a stone throwaway distance. The hotel is a bit old and a bit of uplifting is needed. Rooms are of decent size.Rooms: 4/5
Stayed here overnight whilst we visited Folly Farm and Dinosaur Park in Tenby. Ideal location with local pubs, McDonald's etc nearby. No onsite bar or restaurant but there is a vending machine for snacks/drinks. Room was a good size and bathroom clean. We had to ask for a hairdryer as they're not standard in the room. TV and tea making facilities also in room. Staff were lovely and welcoming and always so polite. A great spot if you're in the Tenby area
Absolutely horrendous stay at this hotel. Was located conveniently for our stay and that was the only good thing about the hotel. The rooms were absolutely disgusting & so unhygienic. There were cobwebs located in various corners of the 2 rooms we booked. The carpets were very dirty visibly looked bleached. Bathroom was dirty more so the toilet seats were basically hanging. Bed sheets were dirty as well as pillows and duvets. Worst part of all this the hotel do not have designated cleaners. Service was so poor the staff was not willing to take into account our complaint as they knew how disappointed we were with our stay. Our 2 night stay ended up being 1 night as we physically could not stay and feel comfortable with such uncleanliness in and around the room. Staff were really rude. I would not recommend anyone staying here. The hall ways smelt like fish and dogs. Dog hairs were lying in the carpets after the staff claimed to have said they were cleaned prior to our stay. This hotel needs some tcl more so needs closing down. Physically not clean enough for anyone human let alone any dogs to stay here. Total waste of money. Due to our one night stay staff were rude and wouldn’t offer us a refund even though they knew how uncomfortable and rude they were to us all who stayed. View images to see what we put up will during our stay.
Would not recommend this ‘hotel’. The room stunk of damp, which had seeped into the bedding and spare pillows. The carpets were badly stained and looked like they hadn’t seen a hoover in a while. There were coffee stains all down the doors. The bathroom had black mould. I wouldn’t recommend staying here. It is dirty and needs some serious investment to bring it up to the usual travel lodge standard.
