Staff a bit grumpy but you dont have to go pass reception to get to your room once you have your key. Room was really nice, clean. Security on floors was good, had to insert your key to access floor. Would definitely stay again.
Unfortunately due to so many issues we wouldn't be using the lodge again. We were grateful that half our charges were refunded and hope that the staffing issues would be rectified so that others don't suffer the awful stay that we experienced. We felt for the staff that were present as they were run ragged. So when complaining we made a point of praising those who had tried their utmost to help.
Good size room, very handy having Lidl just downstairs, close to bus stop and the city centre. Good location. Didn’t have breakfast so can’t say much about the food. Staff were helpful when my room key wasn’t working well. It’s a place I can stay again.
Didn't need anything fancy, Basic, clean and comfortable......Didn't get the Clean though! Walked into bathroom upon arrival and was greeted with a floor full of pubes, literally covered in pubes. Ok Budget hotel maybe someone forgot to clean the floor. Then had to change pillows because of stained linen, I normally check mattress but I thought better of it...Until I left this morning. Urine stains, god knows what stains and this was just the mattress protector! Onto the pillows, NO pillow protectors, With huge brown stains everywhere Weird set up with reception being on first floor with public access to stairs and lifts to all floors. Key card to gain access to corridors needed, but found these doors often wedged open. I would recommend that people avoid this hotel......Like the plague and please do wipe your feet on the way out!!! Oh im pretty sure someone had pissed in the lift!!!
I am here for a few days. It is what it is. Cheap n cheerful. Reason for the negative comments is the food. Last night I had chicken satay and a garlic flat bread. Chicken was like a brick flat bread was disgusting had real bad smell and was not cooked. I took it back asked waiter to smell it he totally refused and walked off with it to the kitchen. No refund offered.
