Travelodge Newcastle-Under-Lyme Central

Friendly efficient reception staff, extremely clean and tidy hotel. Rooms are nicely decorated and ideal for short term stay.Bathroom was compact but functional with plenty of hot water, only fault was no smaller hand towels , just large bath sheet. Heating system excellent just what we needed for our snowy overnight stay! Breakfast choice and quality very good for the price and the cafe bar staff were all friendly and efficient. Overall an excellent first stay in a Travelodge.

Good accommodation for bussiness travellers. Cafe/dinning area is very small. Good breakfast but very small considering the size of the hotel, can get busy. You will need to look elsewhere for evening dinning if you want a decent choice. Clean and tidy though.

Nice clean rooms, comfortable beds and pillows, pricey on the restaurant so we ate out for breakfast. Nice to have tea and coffee included with a kettle for waking up. The desk chair was uncomfortable and the waste bin had a hilariously tiny liner placed in it. The lifts were small, but over very modern and we'll situated downtown. Recommended.

You trully get what you pay for with this place. Room wasn't the best, but certainly not the worst. The matters was too hard, and the pillows were too thick. To add to the already uncomfortable conditions, the room was too hot. There were people constantly banging (sexually, or just stomping) throughout the night. We didn't complain as we didn't exactly want to move rooms. Will not stay here again.
