The stuff were polite and professional, the standard of the carpet was poor and needs to be change you can tell its been there yonks and has started to fade, the shower is a walk in shower with a hospital feel to it that needs updating too. To be honest would not go back there, the location is was a walk away from Campbell Park but our rooms oversaw the centre and was noisy from all the party people downstairs in the restaurants and bars maybe they need TO HIGHLIGHT where the room is facing when people are booking
Good service, free parking, nice healthy breakfast buffet. The restaurant staff are very nice and friendly. Our room was great can't complain to be honest. Nice location too in the city centre. Also, value for money.Rooms: 5/5
Would not recommend staying at this hotel. Poor cleanliness, rude staff. On the day we arrived the roads adjacent to the hotel were blocked off due to a red bull event, we spent ages trying to find parking, tried call the hotel and no one answered. When we got to the hotel there was a sign stating that there was a redbull event and to park elsewhere, a little late to put the sign in the hotel at reception when you've spent ages trying to get to the hotel. I asked the receptionist if there was any reimbursement, her response was to shrug and say it wasn't there fault about the parking. Poor safety measures- fire alarm is set off and everyone evacuates the building, no one is theres to help an older lady with poor mobility to get down the stairs from the 5th floor, which meant she blocked the entire stairwell as she was heading down the stairs sideways....in reality people like this should be directed down by a member of staff, you wouldn't allow them to block the staircase trying to get down stairs whilst blocking it for everybody else! It wouldn't be safe for her or everybody else. When we got downstairs and were waiting outside it was 11:45pm by the way there were lots of families and babies waiting in the cold, at this point a member of staff should have been checking from a printed sheet checking off room numbers and guests...what if there had still been guests in their rooms; nobody was checking! Also there was no announcement stating we could now head back in and that everything was clear and safe, people just suddenly started making their way in to the hotel. Also no fresh towels, room not cleaned and bed not made. A really disappointing hotel stay. Room didn't really look like it had been cleaned, bits and dirt on the floor, pubes on the toilet and in the shower, just gross.
This was a lot better than I expected considering the "ok" feedbacks that I read before booking but, being the only hotel available as at the time I booked, I took the risk and it was actually great. The kids had their own bed and it was clean. The only down fall was that their dining room for breakfast was cold and had no microwave as per policy so we had cold milk for cereal. The services by the staff kind of made up for this but would be nice if this is made available for people to use at their own risk if they so desired. Most of us use microwave for milk at home so why not?
Greated at reception warmly. No hassle in checking in. Room was clean, other than the toilet, due to vomit from previous stayer and spacious. Location is good. Close to superstores & restaurant. This review was completed by my 10 year old son. Have a great stay! Food & drinks: The breakfast is great
Hotel staff were amazing!! They were friendly and polite, especially the restaurant and bar staff, in particular Mohammed was fantastic, with excellent customer service. I wish I could leave a 5 star review just for the staff. The reason I have only given 3 stars is that the duvet in my bed was dirty, the corridor smelt of marijuana, and one of the lifts kept breaking down, and smelt of vomit one morning. Also the wifi kept cutting out every few minutes.
If it was for the CHEAP pricing and convenience of location. I’d of made more of a fuss. The first room the lights didn’t work so we were swiftly changed to another room… Oh how I wish the lights didn’t work in this room! Hopefully the pictures aren’t from the same night !
Got put in a disabled room, asked to change but told there was nothing else available. Very tired and basic, no toiletries. 2 single beds pushed together and if you went in the middle, the mattresses separated and you fell through! Not much personality from the front desk and he spent most of his time out the back so you had to wait for him to appear. Luckily check out was just leaving the key in a box. Only 30mins of free WiFi!!!!! Great location though and on site parking which is rare.
Nicely central in Milton Keynes near some restaurants and bars, however there were problems with the septic tank on one of our two nights which caused the bathroom to smell after the toilet was flushed. When we complained, Reception told us it was a hotel-wide problem, and if they were going to give us some compensation then they would have to do the same for everyone staying. I think when a problem affects the whole hotel, thats exactly what should happen. Additionally, maintenance team began loudly ripping up carpets outside our door at 8:30am without any warning from reception, and tried to enter our room without knocking as they thought it was unoccupied. Reception was again unhelpful, and claimed they have no knowledge of the maintenance team's activities before they arrive. Overall, I would not recommend this travelodge. Our stay was disappointing due to the issues above and the unwillingness of the staff to offer any kind of compensation for our discomfort. There are other hotels in the immediate vicinity that offer better customer service.
It's a superb experience while I stay at Travelodge Milton Keynes Hub reason being the amenities are wonderful, staff is so much friendly and the hospitality we receive is ultimate. Overall it was good experience and having a person like Dolridge is super helpful.Rooms: 5/5
