I feel very sorry for the staff. There was a lovely lady working the bar, check in desk AND serving food. On her own. She did a fantastic job but obviously there were wait times for anything you needed. I'd give the one staff member 5 stars but the wait times put this to a one which are no way her fault. She was even down the next morning on breakfast duty. I hope she's picking up 3 wage packets. That being said, small room but if you're only there to sleep that's all you need. Comfy bed, great pressure in the shower and a decent TV in the room. It's reflective in the price of the room which was very reasonable, parking on site which is great and breakfast was decent for the price too
4 of us stayed the night and what a fab find. Evelina, the manager was amazing. She looked after us well. The rooms were perfectly clean, quiet and well equipped. The breakfast was one of the best I’ve ever had. We will definitely be back. We stayed in a “chain” hotel but definitely got the feel of a “family” hotel with all the personal touches
Staff very nice and helpful, the road nearby can be a bit loud but the windows are well sound proofed. Hendon stations a 10 minute walk away and gets you into London easily, and there are a good number of shops and food places around. Rooms are comfy, air conditioned and have everything you need. For a place to stay in London it’s been amazing value.
To be fair, I really like this Travelodge. The ladies on the desk are always very lovely when I go particularly one, but I can't remember her name!! The parking here is really easy, sometimes it does get busy but there is parking round the back of the hotel itself that people don't realise! The rooms are nice enough and are perfect for any business trips as you can easily access most things in London. From, Brent cross. The rooms and amenities are good, clean and what it says on the tin. I just want to make future customers aware that parking is actually not free. I came in with my family very late at night and the night staff failed to inform me that we had to register our car with Travelodge which ended up us having to pay a fine which, as a paying guest which included the parking, was very disappointing and upsetting.
Wonderful rooms and building, area isn't the greatest but can't help it, however, where the place shines is the staff. Absolutely lovely staff who do their upmost best for their customers, however, the poor lady at the reception was clearly overworked, she had to run around running the reception, running the bar, taking orders, greeting guests and seating them, take orders to guests basic for nearly the entire time I stayed yet always managed to keep a smile, absolutely lovely lady but is clearly overworked, this is the only place where it loses a star excluding the location. Hopefully she gets paid a good wage considering that she has to do about 7 different jobs, if not more. I hope more places would have wonderful people like Lisa.
The only problem with this place is its location. Walking is a challenge given the business of the local roads. So if you're happy with Uber and the like, you'll be fine. Good sized rooms, good showers and reasonable rates for LondonRooms: 4/5
Great location with free parking just outside ULEZ. But the reception team members were definitely one of the worst i have ever seen in a travelodge. Dont seems to care about anything. Asked for a hairdryer gave us one with yellow stains all over. Asked for an extra pillow said they had run out of pillow and later i asked a housekeeper and they could give me one immediately. Asked to add breakfast for one morning been told do it in the morning. The TV in the room got some blue lines on it and as expected they didn’t care. The hotel alone is good just not the reception team.
Room was fine at first, but issues trying to understand the aircon/heating resulted in room that tended to be cold. Lights on aircon flashed all night - even after I thought I had turned it off. Shower excellent. What really let the place down was the cafe/restaurant. We used it one night to eat - never again! Ordered two mains and two sides as per offer. One main appeared after 20 mins, the other after another 20 mins and several reminders. Sides about five mins later. Chips were cold, onion rings undercooked. Pizza on the other hand was great. Would have sent back, but staff other than one poor server running around like a headless chicken, absent. Location great I suppose if you want to be there, but just surrounded by busy roads. I should say that the sound insulation is good - no road noise disturbed us. Been staying in TL for years, this was first bad experience for ages.
Great service. Friendly welcome. Really great staff gave us directions into Wembley. Bus is just across the road so easy to get into town. Super breakfast even though coffee machine broke. Great bar service and available forever!Rooms: 5/5
