We booked to stay for a night. the first room we went into was dirty bathroom especially, stained bedsheets, broken bedside tables and dirty windows. we requested an upgraded room as the first didn’t meet expectations that were posted online. the upgraded room simply had a sofa in it and was exactly the same. in this room the “double” bed was simply two singles pushed together. i would very much not recommend the hotel as it is nothing like the photos shown online.
The last time the room saw cleaning was probably when the hotel was opened. The shower was properly disgusting hair everywhere, with no shampoo or soap in sight. The room was cold. Everything that you can see or touch was broken or damaged in some way. Wifi was not working.We got woken up at 3am from a burning plastic smell, I went to reception to ask what was happening because we were starting to get dizzy, and he said one of the guests tried to use the microwave, and it caught fire oh and I forgot to mention WE WERE THE ONLY 2 ROOMS IN THE WHOLE HOTEL so that was a lie. I hope no one ever has the need to get a room here. You will be better off sleeping in your car or probably the street.
From the moment we arrived we knew we had made a terrible mistake. Outside was dirty and rundown. Old mattresses and furniture were left next to overflowing bins. Cigarette buts lay everywhere and the grounds were unloved. Inside was no better. Dirty, tired rundown and generally horrible. Uncomfortable bed, shabby furniture and a bathroom that looked like something you would find in a squat. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Well. It was. Rather cheap. But not that cheap. Rooms are well as clean as they can be and so on but... well. Well only stay for a night. I oo I think parking was free. That was good.Rooms: 2/5
Pictures advertising hotel are deceiving as it is very run down & needs a complete new refurbishment. Hotel rooms are very basic. No air conditioning the room was unbelievable hot like a sauna which made it very difficult to get to sleep. The hotel is very run down, lots of stains on carpets and chairs, broken furniture in room, night lamps didn't match, curtains coming away from curtain pole, hairdryer covered in white paint, overflowing bins outside bedroom window which attracted flies into room. No safe or small fridge, double bed was two single beds pushed together, small bathroom & most surfaces were sticky. Very disappointed as we paid £580 for 2 nights room only. Really glad we did not eat there.
Do not believe the website photos as advertised for this hotel as these must have been taken when this hotel was freshly refurbished a long time ago as it is in very poor condition now............No Fridge or Safe in room. No Air Conditioning as the room was extremely hot it was like trying to sleep in a volcano very stuffy and the windows didn't open very far a fan was supplied in room but not very effective Large overflowing bins outside bedroom window attracting flies into the room with the windows open a large group of young men smoking and chatting outside the bedroom window until early hours very disturbing in all manners Lots of stains on carpets, chairs & curtains hanging off rail, Hair dryer covered in white paint splats, no matching bedside lamps, furniture falling apart and last but not least all surfaces were very sticky/grimy.
In this case all I was looking for was a fairly cheap room for one night with clean sheets, a comfy bed and a roof within close proximity to the train into London City centre. This hotel ticked all the boxes. I didnt really have a chance to experience all that the Kingsland hotel had to offer but as far a just a place to lau your head it was perfect.
Stayed here last night to go to wembly the rooms were gross and we payed 165 £ for one night rip off dirty needs complete refurb. And so hot didn’t sleep to hot and was worried I would be bitten by something had no choice but to stay but it was gross can’t wait to get home and have a shower don’t go there .Rooms: 1/5
OMG what can I say. NOTHING GOOD! booked for 1 night 2 double rooms for staff. The rooms were infested with bed bugs and the mattresses were so soiled with blood and other bodily fluids. The only good thing was the refund.
we was waiting for check in but guy work on desk he was not available somebody told us he is coming in 10 mins went somewhere we 6 peoples 2 kids was wait for him 40 mins then he came from somewhere no apologies PLZ DONT GO THERE
