Great place, good location near to M&S, Lidl, Mountain Warehouse, some nice restaurants and the High Street.nSmallish rooms, basic but clean and with a decent en-suite shower room. The premium rooms have a coffee machine and really nice coffee pods.nA hairdryer would be a good addition.nStayed here many times and always a good standard.
We stayed in room 214, room was clean a bit on the small side,bedding and towels were clean, bed was firm and the pillows were very firm,not much of a view, we had 4 pidgeons keep in us company outside the window,we didn’t get a good nights sleep because the thermostat which was next to the bed kept clicking all night, quite loudly so we didn’t get much sleep. The soap hadn’t been re filled in the shower, we asked at reception and it was filled, staff very pleasant but overall well worth the money
Great location in the centre of Gossop, the reception staff were welcoming on my late evening arrival. I had a standard room plus You get a coffee machine and free wifi. so I wasn't sure if that was worth the extra. The room was ok with clean linen and comfy bed. There was no shower gel at all in the dispenser, fortunately I had brought my own. And no cup for water in the bathroom. The USB socket next to the bed didn't work/was broken and he room's window has secondary glazing but it didn't fit or close properly so still let a lot of outside noise into the room at night if you are a light sleeper.nnSo in summary it's ok, a good location if you need to stay in the centre of Glossop with free parking too.
Great location to get around Glossop. Very tidy and clean rooms and very quiet overnight. Excellent Wetherspoons next door for cheap meals and drink. Easy walking distance to town and the new Market.
Stayed here for our base to explore the Northern part of the Peak Dustrict. Room was comfortable but could do with a couple of upgrades like enclosed wardrobes and coat hooks. The staff were all excellent. There are great places to eat nearby and the train station is a few minutes away to get to Manchester. Recommended.
