Near the highway, wich is very convenient when travelling to other places. Rooms are very standard and clean. The shower is very good. The beds are nice. We would stay here again.nWe were in the side building.
Perfect little budget hotel, basic but very clean, free tea and coffee, hairdryer etc. lovely powerful shower. We ordered a Chinese but needed cutlery which reception gladly provided. Staff were really friendly and couldn’t do enough to help.
The location of the lodge is strategically marketed for travelers with automobiles on a business trip or on those on vacation to visit Stonehenge and the other points of interest in Amesbury. There’s a gas station and fast food bistro beside it.nnEverything is okay, comfortable bed, there’s extra pillows, in-room coffee and tea, tely.nMy only complaint are the room corner cobwebs.
Always a smile in the morning by all the lovely staff. Paul, Sarah & Lisa, Petra & justine. And after a long day our rooms are well stocked with fresh towels and tea facilities. Well Recommended.
Everything else is normal and what you would expect. Had a loud on the phone shouting upstairs neighbour which I believe staff told the person who was complaining, the ones below them. Then this person proceeded for the rest of the stay to stomp around their room making it very hard to sleep although they did stop shouting on the phone. If that was just how the floorboard sounded, even worse to know as there was nothing that can be prevented for other guests. Not bothered to complain as I will be gaslit by upper management no doubt!
