Just want to say a big Thankyou too Chris for taking care of us tonight at the hotel , although it is not his job he filled the shoes of each and every staff member who was not there because of the adverse weather conditions .He booked us in , served us drinks and when we were hungry he cooked us a fantastic meal , if I was his employer I would be very proud and pay him each and every staff members wages that were not there to do there jobs . Well done Chris , you made are stay extra special , you are a true gentleman and loyal to  the management at this hotel , we would come back just to see you .
Thankyou again and i truly hope you are appreciated and compensated for what you have accomplished .

Great hotel, clean,  comfy very friendly staff.  Very close to great dining restaurants in Amesbury, so we didn't sample the hotel menu. Will definitely try it next time as we definitely are going back to The Stones for another visit. Well worth it

Recently refurbished so looks classy but scratch a little below the surface and it appears to have been done with cheap and poor quality building materials. Looks amazing right now but I can't imagine it will be so nice in a year or two's time. The locally brewed "Stones" beer is great as is the menu. The food is very slow to arrive but worth waiting for. Very good, just sadly not amazing...

Lovely hotel. Clean, tidy, comfortable and quiet. Really enjoyed our stay here for a short break visiting Stone Henge. Near a retail park with various restaurants so really handy.
