I registered with this surgery about 2 years ago. Thankfully I've only had to visit once - but I received a first class service. The reception staff were polite and friendly. My doctor took his time, listened to my concerns and sent me for an urgent referral for a CT scan. When phoning for the results, the lady I spoke to was helpful. I've seen lots of poor reviews about this surgery - but when looking for a doctor's to register with, all of the surgeries in Sevenoaks have poor reviews. I'm pleased to say that my experience with the Town Medical Centre has been positive so far. Google needs to update the address....It's not in Dunton Green!

As it is easier to use this to post a response than it is to actually 'reply' I will do it this way:- It is frustrating to receive some reviews when they are from unverified sources. However, in an effort to add a little balance here we would like to say that in 167 survey responses received since 12 February 18, 109 patients have said they are 'Extremely Likely' to recommend Town Medical Centre to friends or family and another 42 are 'Likely' to recommend. Most of these also comment very favourably on the doctors, staff and care received. Based on this and other feedback we have no current plans to recruit baboons or further update our Albanian airport departure lounge, but we will of course continue to monitor patient feedback. Oh by the way Google, as our patients will know, we are not in Dunton Green. Town Medical Centre, April 2018

I've been at this doctors for about 13 years and I can safely say that it would probably work better if it was run by baboons. The staff behave like they're volunteers who do this out of the kindness of there own hearts, several times I have been prescribed the wrong medication and told to "get over it" after not being able to get an appointment for weeks. The system of calling on the day to get an appointment was obviously devised by the same person who came up with Americas oil deals with the middle East and often people with serious illnesses are left unable to get treatment. Im so glad they spent money to change the decor so it now looks like the departure lounge at an Albanian airport from 1950 instead of looking like the departure lounge at an Albanian airport from 1949, money we'll spent I'd say 👍. All in all if you want to feel deeply frustrated, receive abuse and die of the illness you have all at the same time, then this is the place for you.

Genuinely no worse place to go. The receptionists are unhelpful and think that all they need to do is the bare minimum yet that is good enough service. The doctors prescribe medicine despite not knowing what the illness/infection actually is. Then the nurse has cancelled my appointment for travel vaccinations twice now, this has put my trip at risk. To which the "helpful" suggestion was that I would have to go private due to this practice's incompetency. I solely recommend never to join here and if you have leave as soon as possible.
