Best Subway stop in London, because it was so close to everything! And the Tour of the Tower is a must-see with antics from those Yeoman Warders, aka BEEfeaters!!!
Good tour, seeing the movie and being able to relate to events thats happen here was a plus. It was wonderful going back in time, seeing the crown jewels, wish we were allowed to take pictures of the jewels. It wasnt busy when i got there later afternoon, i had 1.5 hours before closing time and i managed to see it all in a bit of an exciting rush. Do wear comfortable shoe alot of walking.
Imposing medieval fortress. An icon in London and spectacular view for photoshots. A must visit if in London, not necessarily the paid guided trip, its vicinity and historical appeal is enough to awe you.
Tower Hill is fantastic. Roman, Medieval, Tudor history all in one site. Great views of the Tower, river and city and close by Tower Bridge. Perfect site to start your London walk at.
Disabled friendly and free entry for accompanying persons. Historical place. Worth visting
