Quite busy when I parked there, easy to pay on Ringo and there are pay machines that accept card. Just make sure you check the code on Ringo as there are 2 Torrington car parks it seems unsure if they're the same one.
Car park has good sized spaces but navigating a stroller, wife and luggage around this site was irritating. I later found there was lifts, but the signage is ridiculous. A paper sign indicates, exit, shops and with a tiny lift symbol which from distance is easily not seen. When I eventually discovered the lifts, the doors and metal work, grate the metal off your stroller as you fight to get through. Best bet, drop every thing off, before you park the car!
Look the parking is ok, but the concept of “check in and check out” is deeply confusing even for me a middle aged fart and should be better explained. Perhaps it is some tunbridge wells slang?
Dirty. Smells. Lifts don’t work. Got a PCN even though I paid by Ringo!
The payment systems in this car park only accept cash or or phone app payments. If you are a foreign visitor I would definitely avoid this car park. We wanted to park for a whole day day which was £10 and had to be paid with coins. The telephone phone payment system provided would not allow us to pay as it did not recognize the car. I had to go to a shop to get £10 worth of coins. By the time I got back I had already got a parking fine.nLater note: After appealing against the fine the council kindly cancelled it.
