A great way of getting to Torpoint and back to Devonport. Toilets and a snack machine on board. The staff are normally friendly and helpful. I nice way of getting photos of the river Tamar and Devonport Dockyard.

Ferry cost is paid on the return trip into Devon, normally three ferry's in service; an interesting short trip on a chain driven vessel. Worth the short wait for the experience.

We used the ferry again on Christmas Day and were very happy with the Christmas arrangements. We managed to drive straight on going to Torpoint and we didn't have to pay going back to Plymouth. The staff work so hard all year round, in all weather. It was awful yesterday but they didn't look like they were complaining. A really good service.

We use torpoint ferry alot we injoy the ride staff are wonderful

There are 3 ferries running every 10 mins. It s a nuisance not being able to know on line in advance if one is not running
