Fabulous place. Would recommend to any couple, couples, small groups to try this place out. If you like the idea of trying out a 'Log Cabin' with all the 'mod cons', the most comfortable bed, and a jacuzzi to chill in, this is the place.

Nice place but could be better for the money you pay. I had to repair the roller blind pull cord for the main entrance. Hot tub had a scum like around a dirty bath as well as floating bits in the water. Got woken up by the maintenance man dropping the hot tub cover on our last day. Bath plug is dangerous when having a shower as you catch your toes on the pop up plug. The bed fell apart and when reported I was told that the bed was new. Luckily this happened during the day and was repaired by the time we returned later that day. The dusting could be improved too with cobwebs hanging from the light and bedside light bulbs covered in dust. It wouldn't hurt to have a few games, books or even a pack of cards. There is no feedback card in the lodge and in fact very few maintenance issues would get reported for fear of being charged due to site policy. I wasn't even asked if I had a nice stay when I called the owner to say we were leaving. Such a shame as this place is in a lovely location and very quiet. The lodge is very well appointed and has a washer dryer, toaster, gas hob, electric cooker, microwave and fridge freezer. Although I did find it quite strange that the extra bedroom remained locked during our stay? The log stove is lovely although when you're paying £140 a night I'm not sure £5 for extra wood is very fair?

This is a fabulously relaxing place to have a break and unwind. The facilities are first class. The best birthday break I have had. Thank you so much for letting me stay with you. Would like to return one day. Highly recommended. Jane and Jane 5th - 7th March 2018.

We visit each year and absolutely love it here. A nice quiet escape from city life and lots to do whatever the weather. We especially enjoy the hot tubs..!! The children also get to learn about life in the country.
