Story

Bucklegrove started out as Tea Rooms in the 1940’s and is now the longest established family friendly and family run holiday park in the gorgeous Cheddar valley.

Owned by the Clarke Family since 1996, we aim to provide a warm and friendly atmosphere for guests to relax and enjoy our stunning corner of the West Country. Our small rural holiday park is bordered by gently rolling open countryside on the edge of the Mendip Hills designated 'Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty', offering a perfect base to explore or just sit back and admire the view.

With Cheddar gorge, Wookey hole and Wells on our doorstep; Bath, Bristol and Longleat under an hours’ drive we are a perfect base from which to explore the West Country.

An overall fantastic stay with lovely accommodation and fantastic views across the fields when in the hot tub or sat in the lounge. The lodge itself was modern, clean and very up together.  A nice play to stay for a romantic weekend away.  A few negatives, 1 the heat of the hot tub couldn’t be changed and seems it was extremely cold this weekend, it would have been nice to increase the temp. 2 the water temperature was very poor. Showers and bath was basically cold and not enjoyable at all  Despite these negatives, the stay was great overall, highly recommend and would stay again.
