What an amazing book shop!!
From the Ely high street frontage, this book shop appears to be small; don't be fooled! Once inside, this bookshop has literary and physical depth, 3 storeys height and is utterly packed with book cases, none of which could hold another book. And every book is different!! Stunning.
Stand around with a book in hand for longer than a minute and you will be offered complimentary Tea or Coffee, served properly in a pot and on a tray, with occasional seating amongst the books.
The staff are just brilliant; none can do enough for their customers. Say 'hello' to Jo; she's a marvel.
Be warned; you won't come out of this brilliant bookshop empty handed. Superb.  There are always signed first editions available.  Events are also arranged, using the the Cathedral or Library, for visiting Author speeches.
If there is just one compromise to the arrangement it might be wheelchair accessibility, which I'm just not sure about so please call the shop before you visit with a wheelchair.  Wheelchair access from the street to the ground floor is possible; beyond that I'm just not certain, but I feel sure that staff will help as much as possible.

A very relaxed, warm atmosphere.  Knowledgeable staff, a book to be found for every reading choice, and a pot of coffee also.   Thankyou

A real treasure house, with a wide variety of books we hadn't seen in other bookshops. Worth a special journey to Ely
