I love my local market, found in the central market Square. Farmers market (8am til 2pm) on the second and fourth Saturday of the month, with special markets run on high days and holidays including French market or vegan market. A lovely range of local producers with fish, meat, eggs, veggies and bakery as the staples. Often good deli stands, including cured meats, cheeses, olives, pickles etc alongside fresh take away like wood fired pizza, homemade samosas, curries or venison burgers. The dumpling man makes very good dumplings! The coffee stall always smells divine, supplying all your coffee needs including roast beans, grounds and coffee makers. Also a shout out to Ely Gin company... Does what it says on the tin and rather yummy 🍸 Good range of cakes and cheese and pie stalls. Some sellers take cards (but the signal can be difficult) so mostly come armed with cash! There's a couple of cash points dotted about. Other Saturdays, Sundays and Thursdays are general market, with everything from clothes, bags and accessories to antiques, collectables and housewares. As it's Ely, parking is free. Come early though, it gets busy and sometimes it's better to park a little way out and walk in. I'm lucky enough to walk in from home.

We always have a good market in the square. Love to support the stalls, fabulous raspberries and strawberries at the moment. Always something different to see. Really good coffee stall.

Excellent veg and fruit, great meat and cheese and better fish than you'd normally find this far inland. Also a range of antique and other stalls, and various other ingredients and prepared foods in a market integrated well into the city centre. Well worth a visit.

Traditional, busy market. Lots of stalls selling a variety of fresh and cooked food produce. An excellent market.

Check out the Misty Mountain Music stall that's there every Sunday. A great selection of Vinyl and CDs across all genres. The prices are extremely reasonable and the service is excellent!
