I have been coming to this Chinese takeaway for two years now and I always found the staff to be friendly and polite...Up until about 2 months ago when the restaurant was taken over by new staff, who I found to be quite rude. A couple of times a week, I go in to order plain boiled rice (as I have recently become a vegetarian.) Only to be told I am no longer allowed to order it on its own and I must pay for another meal along with the rice. Keeping in mind that I am also a student and I think paying £2.80 for a portion of plan rice is enough money anyway. However, it's the snobbery that's the main issue here and I understand that to some people ordering just rice on its own may be a little strange. From now on I will take my service elsewhere as I am not using this Chinese again. Overall appalling experience and people should be able to order what they want as they're paying, whether it be a big or small amount.

I have ordered a few times for Top chef, but sadly the last 2 times have been very disappointing. The food came warm didn’t seam fresh at all. It was a shame that I spent money at this take away. Unfortunately this was my last trial. Disappointing.

Wanted to have my birthday dinner from Thai Crystal in Ewell, unfortunately it is closed Tuesdays, so I ordered from Topchef, which was rather disappointing.

the chicken nuggets and curry spicy popadoms were very nice actually. 
I would recommend this w/ chicken and banter as both are great fast food curry places xx
