Fantastic and helpful staff, helped me get exactly what I needed to solve my problem, large variety of stock.
Used Toolstation a few times, but I recently ordered a few items from them, over £500 worth. Ordered online, plenty of stock available, got a confirmation e:mail confirming the order and a text confirming the order was ready to collect to then find out that they missed off the bigger part of the order due to no stock they refunded it before I got to the store, no problem there but in this day and age, with the inventory system available there isn't a good excuse to show stock online that isn't available in fact I'm sure there is a law against it and then not even tell you that the order couldn't be fulfilled. Not store staffs fault, but if you're ordering something important from Toolstation, maybe try Screwfix instead.
Ment to open at 7 but doesn't. Still sitting outside at 7:20 and there's no sign of anyone. The phone line doesn't open till 9 as well
The husband popped into the ellesmere port branch for bits and bobs,he never really comments on service , but Mike gave him such amazing service and his knowledge was fantastic that the husband came home and told me this.. WELL DONE Mike, like I say he never says when service has been great and yours truly was for him to comment
I have always had excellent service from staff at Ellesmere Port Toolstation but today was exceptional. Joe went above and beyond to help me find a drill part. He is both professional and friendly with a most welcoming smile on arrival. In this episode of metamorphoses, of beginnings looking back on their endings and effects seeking a cause, I found myself seized by a compulsive desire to engage in home renovation work. The former Prime Minister Gordon Brown once famously urged the nation to stick with him and reject David Cameron's pitch for Number 10 as, he claimed, the 2010 election was "no time for a novice". The same could equally be said about a kitchen in need of re-tiling, with a subsided floor and mouldy kitchen sink- definitely no time for a novice . Fortunately and this is where I come to the point- in my many hours of need, the Ellesmere Port Toolstation branch has been a lighthouse beacon in stormy seas. Knowledgeable, convivial and professional staff and a cornucopia of hardware supplies at competitive prices- a top class operation.
