We came back after a long time because we moved far away from the city centre but we love it at Tony's. So great to see it busy all the time! Breakfast is to die for and you always leave full. Orange juice tastes fresh. Service is always great. Prices are reasonable in comparison to the portions you get. Definitely recommend and will be back!

You couldn’t find a better spot to have breakfast. This restaurant has great food and the perfect atmosphere for a relaxed meal. The portions are generous and the service is friendly. Out of the 3 mornings we spent in Cork 2 of them were spent at this restaurant.Food: 5/5

Okay "I’m gonna make all who read this an offer they can’t refuse" Go to Tony's Bistro... its the best full irish breakfast I've had in years!! I'm back again for seconds. OMG!! Is Tony's Bistro not one of the top breakfast eateries in Cork!! As the Godfather might have said "A Cork man who doesn’t spend time with his family at Tony's Bistro can never be a real Cork man".
This is by far the best breakfast I’ve had, amazing hangover cure, so good that we had to tip them. If I could go down from dublin everyday just to have their fry up I would :P the portions are perfectly massive ps. Get extra bacon, you won’t regret itFood: 5/5

Tony's is like a treasure in Cork but it has been living on an out of date reputation for a long time that has no bearing on the current state of affairs. There was virtually nothing on the menu for less than €10, most of it was €12! What happened to a simple mini breakfast? The menu was printed on a dark redish background that was hard to read at times. The bacon was overcooked to the point of being burnt but more importantly was very poor quality. The sausages were small and again poor quality. If you put a tiny ramekin of relish on a plate of terrible food it doesn't make it fancy or better! It's still terrible food! €35 for three breakfast is a monumental rip off for what we got. To put some context on it; The following day I had a mini breakfast in East Cork for €7.90. Two days later I had breakfast in Dublin for €9! Both included coffee and both provided far better quality of food! It is beyond me how Tony's is still scoring high on reviews because I remember what it used to be like in here and it was good. Now, it is absolute rubbish. Vegetarian options: There are options. Kid-friendliness: Kids are welcome. Parking: No parking. Wheelchair accessibility: There is not much room for wheelchairs inside.
Great spot for a traditional Irish breakfast. Tony's is a Cork City institution. Good menu, lots of options for those with small or big appetites. There are veggie choices too. Inside and outside seating available. Reasonably priced.
