The Tom Cobley Tavern is a family run, friendly pub. We have a wide selection of fine real ales and ciders, along with traditional pub food.

Story

We pride ourselves on being a traditional family run pub, we offer a wide selection of ales and cider and good traditional pub food. We cater for a variety of palates and have a large vegetarian, vegan and gluten free food selection. The bar area is cosy and friendly and in the winter a lovely log fire is roaring in the corner. Dogs are welcome on leads and there is a plentiful supply of dog biscuits as most of the regular canine friends soon learn. Large parties catered for and if you are looking for something special we can normally accommodate the situation.

A proper pub and exactly what a pub should be. Very friendly with a great selection of food. BUT most important of all brilliant beer and cider that's well looked after. Must confess I think I had the best pint of Otter I've ever had. If beer isn't your thing there's an impressive range of ciders a perry to choose from.
Wonderful place with a big focus on cider: they’re multiple award winners for that dedication.nnThis is my friend’s local and there’s a great country vibe in the pub. Lucy is a great front of house - friendly and helpful! Plenty of ales and a solid food menu. Don’t skip on the meat dishes - top quality and butchered by themselves. I got a plate of ham POH for us to share with our mains and it was delicious.
First time of visiting for Sunday roast and it was amazing. Good choice of meats & vegetables are different each week.nLandlord comes round to make sure you are happy with everything.nHighly recommend.
We have just had a great meal with friends here. Roger and his team were super Infact we could not fault anything from the bar service right through to the food service recommend 100%. The best meal we have had out in a very long time and we will definitely be returning. Keep up the good work guys.
A lovely warm welcome and delicious food! Enjoyed making a dent in the menu of 30 ciders - a great place to stop on a long bike ride.
