Terrible service. We booked a table and were told they did a vegetarian option. We waited 20 minutes at our table only to be told the veggie option came with no gravy and that the potatoes were cooked in beef dripping so we’d have to have boiled potatoes. Don’t do a veggie roast if it’s so pathetic. The young waitress that served us a very apologetic about it. Unfortunately, the other member of staff (older female bartender) wasn’t welcoming in the slightest or apologetic when we left and clearly has no people skills. The atmosphere resembles that of an old people’s home and it smells like one too. Avoid at all costs. This is not a cosy country pub you want to visit on a Sunday.

The food and drink is great and the staff are super friendly. Couldn't recommend enough. My favourite restaurant/pub.
