Dr S Naqvi absolutely displays the core values of the NHS. His honesty and open approach to every interaction has been superb! He has been compasionate when dealing with me and actually listens. Dr S Naqvi always goes above and beyond every single time and is comitted to the quality of care he delivers. Thank you for your compassion, long may it continue ! The NHS definitely needs more Drs. like this in every single practice.
I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with the Thurmaston GP surgery. Over the past few weeks, I have been experiencing severe pain and swelling in my chest, shoulder, and neck, along with breathing difficulties. Despite the seriousness of my symptoms, getting any form of help from this surgery has been nearly impossible.nnI have called multiple times, often first thing in the morning, only to wait in a long phone queue for what feels like ages, just to be told there are no appointments available—no matter how urgent or debilitating my condition is. The phone system is poorly managed, with calls often going unanswered or cut off. Their online booking system doesn’t work either, making it impossible to even try to book appointments that way. There is no proactive follow-up or support offered.nnAfter a distressing visit to A&E, where I was told to follow up with my GP regarding test results and ongoing care, the surgery claimed they had not received any of my test information or ECG results. When I tried to get help, they simply told me to go back to A&E. This endless back-and-forth has left me trapped in a frustrating and painful cycle, with no answers, no diagnosis, and no treatment plan.nnI am struggling both physically—unable to manage the pain—and mentally, as the constant stress and lack of care take a serious toll. All of this is especially upsetting because I pay hundreds of pounds every year in NHS contributions, expecting basic care, respect, and communication. Instead, I have been met with neglect, silence, and a shocking lack of compassion.nnThis GP surgery is failing its patients, and I cannot recommend it to anyone in need of timely and compassionate medical support.
Worst medical centre ever! You can never get an appointment, you can literally die or have your condition worsen and they still wont book you in for an appointment or check up on you. When you have a blood test they dont even inform you if you need to fast or not, waste of time and energy.
Booked an appointment online to then get a text saying I hadn't attended when my time hadn't even been. Complained when I arrived to then be told I could see a nurse when I need to see a doctor. Disgraceful way of caring for people. Not even an apology for their mix up. Over an hour wait. The receptionist are so slow and disappear for ages and leave you standing for ages. Previously had a prescription sent to chemist that they didn't send had to wait nearly 2 hours. Place is a Disgrace!!
Nice.. good for minor surgery. FRIENDLY STAFF and good caring facility person, mostly female..
