I had my vasectomy on 16/12/2022. What a lovely team. Reception were great, nurse was very cool and chatted to me during the procedure taking my mind off what was happening and surgeon was very lovely and reassuring. Paula was great from the initial set up and communication about changes to appointments as well as the aftercare session after surgery. Thank you.
The Doctors are fine, it's the reception and clerical staff who let the place down. In less than a year they have messed up a fixed repeat prescription four times. Coloplast who supply catheters put a request in for a prescription monthly when I request supplies and the staff have sent them the wrong prescription, if I run out this could be serious and cause hospitalisation. Complaining by phone or in person has no effect and lot of time is wasted trying to correct thier mistakes. Some of the staff are not fit for purpose.
After being calling at 8am to them actually picking up at 8.45. To be told that all the appointments went by 8.20 and I have to go to the walking center or the hospital or ring again tomorrow. That's ridiculous for something little that my GP could sort!
Hi Maria, I received your message, but this was three in a row cancellations due to unforeseen circumstances. This many unforeseen circumstances means something is truely wrong with the way the surgery is operating. I have seen the locum Doctor over three weeks ago and still no blood test and still not sure why I am unwell. Dr Kapsi and Dr Rizvi has lost the plot and patient safety is not important and saving money is! I do not understand why Heatherbrook are merging with Willow Surgery when they cannot effectively manage their own surgery. I am not supportive of this. Very dissatisfied with Heatherbrook and the service they are offering.
One of the very worst GP in UK. Very hard to get an appointment even if you call from 8am, they say there are no appointments today, call tomorrow morning 8am. This is repeating everyday. Very bad experience. I'm going to change the GP soon.
This practice has gone downhill. Appointments system has disappeared. Now you have to phone on the day at 8am, if don’t get appointment, you have to phone the next day - just keeps going like that. Just because it’s a free service doesn’t mean we have to put up with poor service. To send people to Loughborough hospital as happened with me after 3 days getting nowhere isn’t an answer: hospital is hard to get to, and what’s the point of local GP if they just refer you out of area. Earnings of partners which should be declared online are not shown for the past 6 years.
This surgery has gone down hill with Dr Kapsi and Dr Rizvi taking no accountability for duty of care for their patients. My wife is seariously unwell and the receptionist refused to provide an emergency appointment. She had a mosquito bite infection with high temperature and unwell. Even when she rang 111 they said your GP is responsible to provide you the care and someone will call. 6hrs later no call. This was Monday and when my wife had not joy with 111. As hopeless as Heatherbrook! She had to ring again today 28th June and after pleading with the receptionist, a GP calls and refuses to see her and prescribed antibiotics which without seeing the skin infection and possible serious complications which can come from an Mosquito bites. Then She has to nerve to say as we get our normal prescriptions from Pharmacy2u. She could not Write a simple prescription to collect and they will come in the post, which takes 3 days. My wife said how can I wait 3 days when I need this medicine today! No duty of care towards patients. Dr Kapsi and Dr Rizvi you seriously need to look at these incompetent DR you are hiring and change and start to see patients and make appointment available. The Pandemic is over!!! I am totally disgusted with the service we are receiving over the last 18 months. This surgery had lost its way with their customers and duty of care and to look after sick people.
Competence and consistency not present at this surgery. It has gone from being one of the most professional surgeries in Leicester under Dr and Dr Archer to a useless large group of surgeries. If considering joining, try next door. Also if already a patient here note ,they are always closed on Thursday PM and sometimes closed on a Wednesday afternoon.
Received a letter inviting me to attend for a smear test, called and was offered an appointment the following week, attended and was seen on time, no waiting, the nurse I saw was excellent! Very gentle, informative and efficient. Brilliant service, thank you very much to everyone involved
called at 8am on hold for an hour to be told theirs no appointment available and cant brook for another day can only call on the day how am i meant to get an appointment 0 help from reception too i miss when the archer's ran thing at least i could get an appointment then
