Great service in thunder road Bridgend again. Had current bike in for Mot and annual service. Staff courteous and friendly. They had a cb750 hornet as a demo bike, which I love, and will be my next bike, as I was sat on it, they simply asked would I like to take it out for and hour and 15 minutes later, after a little paperwork I was off out on it, what a beautiful bike. Thanks to Richard in sales for arranging this.
***Edited***nnThis is the 2nd Honda dealership that has ordered a body part from Honda for me. They tell you a week so they can take your money, then when you wait a week and give them a call, miraculously, it's suddenly going to take another 6 weeks. AND I had to call when it should have already arrived to find this out. I've now been waiting for this part for nearly 6 weeks because 2 dealerships keep changing the goal post after taking payment. I had to cancel the first because I was messed around and Thunder road have just done the exact same thing. I've had to cancel with both of them and have just given up on getting the part that I want to put my bike back to perfect condition.nnI feel extremely disappointed and let down.nnI've had both of my bikes from Thunder road and wouldn't have expected this from their parts department.nnSince my complaint, I have been in communication with Andrew, the general manager, via email. He has made no effort at all to put things right and has taken no responsibility. He has just blamed Honda. He couldn't even be bothered to try and contact Honda to attempt to speed the process up. I would of paid for any kind of postage if someone could have been bothered to try but all I got was him defending his staff, saying that they had done nothing wrong.nnAbsolute waste of time if you need OEM parts.nNobody seems to want to help unless you go in looking at bikes.
I had a puncture on Saturday not far from thunder road and their garage wasn’t open until Tuesday, stuck not knowing what to do. but a worker there named Andrew went the extra mile and personally changed the inner tube and enough to make it home so A+++ on all aspects. TOP MAN
I've had to take my Honda CB650r back 3-4 times for the same warranty issue. I've now been waiting over 2 months for parts to arrive with no phone calls or updates. There is currently no ETA for the parts system is saying 2099 but also no suggestion that they've chased this matter up with Honda. I have had to phone them on each occasion for an update.nI have to say that Terri is a real credit to the company, her customer service is 1st class and she has a genuine interest in you and your bike.
Great motorcycle shop in Bridgend. Part of a chain that offers good deals on motorbikes. Worth a visit if you are looking for a new bike.
