Used to go here all the time and loved it.. went today after not going for a couple months and not only had the name of the cafe changed but so had alot else.. food portions were alot smaller than before for the same price, it was 80p for one piece of toast and the tea was vile. Came to 12.00 for 2 people but most of the food got wasted as it was undercooked and greasy and to top off the disappointed experience, two elderly ladies started smoking vapes on a table next to us. Totally in shock and disgusted I didn't even know what to say!! and not one staff member told them to stop as it is against the law to do so (unless it's a shop that sells them and allows it) overall - awful experience!

Last time we will go there.

Would be better off going to the possibly more hygienic and better eatery across the road, the exotic and aquatic centre. The hygiene rating of 5 must be Bridgend humour as it was simply a joke. The woman behind the counter was preparing food, handling money and receipts and cleaning tables, etc without washing her hands between tasks. The table was so sticky, even the staff were struggling to pick up the plates and cutlery. The food was of terrible quality with my toastie being soggy and the chicken mayo baguette being mainly mayonnaise. The food was clearly mixed in the kitchen as some of the tuna ended up on another plate which would have been more of an issue with my family member who is allergic to fish. The drinks were adequate at best with my mocha being mainly chocolate powder. The staff were too busy to care about the people in the cafe, although we did get a thanks as we left. The cafe must be way behind the times with no card machine on offer and no cash only sign.
