BEWARE! Thrifty have charged me for damage that was done to the car after it was off hired. Take as many photos as you can of the vehicle before and after hiring. Avoid using them at all if you can, I never have these issues with Avis or Hertz. These people are a bunch of charlatans!

Fantastic and helpful service from Collin & Harry. Went above and beyond needed a car for a special occasion and did they deliver Fantastic car got me more than my expectations.. I will defo reccomend them for car hire experience.  Thanks guys 5*****

Great service, deal and car! However, as with all car rental companies DO take the time to read the T&C's prior to your booking! I would recommend the optional insurances for peace of mind too..... I will be using them again.

Car was good as you’d expect from car hiring companies but customer service mediocre. Late to deliver the car and an absolute nightmare to get them to check it off. Almost as if I had to beg them to give the car back to them. Also car had a few marks that “noone noticed so werent on the system” as if it was hard to see a big scuff on the front bumper, had to point out before i hired the car.

Unbelievable! Paid online to hire a van for 8 hours, and when I contacted them about I.D., they said they require a bank statement. Was not happy about giving out my personal financial information at all. But then I  was told the deposit would be £750!! I mean £750?? I'd want a chauffeur for that. Went next door to Enterprise, £200 deposit and just driving licence and debit card for I.D.

Great van prices and unlimited milage in the uk. I hired a short wheel based van, Vauxhall Vivaro, which was good quality though the air vents really stank for the first 2 hours of driving it.  Picking up the van from the office took 30 minutes as their system was down which was very annoying. But checking the vehicle back in was perfect and quick.

Friendly, professional service throughout.  Would give more stars if I could.  As visitors from overseas, and on a tight timeline with a single day hire, we couldn't be happier.  Full marks to 'Aisha'.  A shining example of customer service.  Well done ...from Woodend, Australia.

This place has gone downhill my aunt and uncle came over from L.A.and needed a van for a few days to move something's so I said thrifty so thay booked a sprinter van long wheelbase.  So we turned up did the paperwork ect only to be given a different van than we had asked for not only that the van was not ready for us to drive away it had to be 25mins before we finally sat in it as it was sandwich between lots of other vehicles so was happy to get going I drove to Sainsbury's on bath road Slough for supplies for our journey only to be absolutely floored when I jumped out of van and for the first time and noticed a very large chunk out of the tyre and was shocked but more angry that 1I was given a unsafe vehicle in the first place .2had I been pulled over or gone through a spot Chech points on my licence for the faulty tyre and fine.so I take the van back to them and the first thing the manager said when I explained why I was back was we would not of let the van out with the tyre like that untill it was evident that it had not just happened and infact was  an old tyre as was the rest of them tho the others were just legal.no apologies from them so now we need a van and the cherry on the top was the next van had a completely bald font tyre on it and when my girlfriend pointed it out the manager didn't now what to say to me ??? Obviously this was refused by me to drive so I still needed a van by this time my patients is running low with these jokers that finally give me a Luton vav not what I asked for the warning light for service was on and the engine management light came on the van didn't travel over 55 down hill.and to complete this thay couldn't give a damm about there customers please please make sure you check your vehicle very thoroughly.mr s price. Slough thrifty car and van rental.you are a joke.

I have hired here a few times now and it has Excellent Management and staff, great cars and prices, best hire company in the area....
