Lovely village pub, great service from really pleasant staff. Room & bathroom immaculate & nicely furnished in a country style. Bar & restaurant area really nicely refurbished too & a good atmosphere to sit and chill with a drink and have something nice to eat. Quality of food very good, both breakfast & dinner. They even have the most adorable pub cat, Garfield, who loves a fuss.
How the landlord is in hospitality is beyond me. Never have I come across such an obnoxious excuse of a human being. I am in no doubt as to why the place was empty of customers. Don't waste your money in here, there are plenty more establishments that give a warm and friendly welcome and not the verbal abuse I received on entering. What a joke of man, grow up and realise you never know who comes through your door. Manners cost nothing.
Popped in for a quick pint when visiting the area. Friendly staff, great service and a nice cozy place to stop after a long walk.Service: 5/5
Stayed at The Three Tuns pub one night only. Set in lovely honeypot village We had not booked but walked in. Pleasant member of staff gave price and showed to room over looking the small village Center. The room was comfortable, in fact very comfortable and we both had a really long sleep only later did I notice the room was called big sleep. The bathroom is very modern with lovely powerful walk in shower. Teas coffee milk with kettle also in room. Breakfast across the road in the Queen Catherine pub, where we also had an evening meal. For the owner you staff very pleasant , walking in young lady , at the bar young man and breakfast chap.
Popped in on a quiet Saturday for late lunch. Seated quickly and service pleasant. Menu is small but seems to cover the essentials well. Booze available is a good standard. Environment pleasant and comfortable with a nice bar area at the front and sizable restaurant further back.
Highly recommend. Friendly staff, good food and a lovely venue. Dog friendly too.
Called in for refreshments after a walk along Cleveland Way and Cod Beck reservoir. Lovely place, Sunday lunch looked to die for, plenty of people eating there so very popular. Will definitely think about going back for food.
Staff not at all pleased to see us in fact I think it was there looks which turned the milk sour in our tea as it wasn’t nice ? We walked over the road to the Golden Lion and it was completely the opposite save your money and go elsewhere…. A smile costs nothing !!!Service: 1/5
Great Wetherspoons with quick service, cold pint and lovely food ....what's not to like. Loads of parking outside with pay as you go ,free after 6PM.If your in the area I would recommend.Service: 4/5
Food is a fairly good standard with plenty of veg my only complaint is it was bordering on cold probably due to cold plates . Staff are nice and the pub is attractively and stylishly fitted out and furnished . Just serving hot meals would give more starsService: 4/5
