We ordered 3 cups of double scoop Movenpik icecream. While eating the espresso flavoured scoop, I felt something sharp against my lip. It was a shard of glass/hard plastic about an inch long. I asked for the manager but a young waitress came who was very apologetic and took away the cup and the sharp object. She left £2.50 which was the cost of one scoop. I felt rather annoyed. Any other restaurant would have replaced the cup or at least offered to. Instead I was refunded the price of ONE scoop. I went to the counter and asked for them to relplace the scoop or to be refunded the total cost of the cup they had taken. This time the manager rudely said "you want to buy another scoop?" She argued with me despite my saying either give me another scoop or refund it's cost. She dismissed me very abrasively by ordering the waitress to give me the pound difference. Her behaviour was unacceptable and whatever their policy is regarding the state of consumables they sell, I felt she was out of order. Both she and the waitress returned before we left to apologise for miscommunication on their part. Too late, I was livid with their attitude. I was lucky, if that were a child the damage caused by the sharp object would have been unimaginable.

Come here everyday for a hot chocolate and panini. It is amazing! 100% recommended to anyone!
