The centre is recognised as one of the premier Pilates and Yoga studios and Retreat Centres in North Yorkshire in England, run by Anne-Marie and James Burford.

James and Anne-Marie are dedicated to the physical, mental, emotional, spiritual and social wellbeing of all those who are exposed to their teachings, treatments and classes.

Love this place. You won't meet a friendlier bunch of people. I attended my first social evening last night and felt very at home. The retreat i attended back in August was very relaxing, Anne-Marie and James were very welcoming and i very much enjoyed the food and garden. Thank you

The Yorkshire Centre for Wellbeing is an idyllic place for people of any age, shape, size and ability to go and begin or expand their Yoga and Pilates journey. As a physiotherapist, I understand the importance of keeping your body in a good condition, but Anne-Marie and James go above and beyond to help each and every individual understand their body and find ways to improve their physical abilities. They take a holistic approach to their treatments and they have years of skills and experience which allow them to adapt their sessions to anyone. I would highly recommend their practice.

The Yorkshire Centre for Wellbeing is a great, family run practice with a wealth of experience and knowledge behind them, allowing them to offer services to a wide range of people from many different backgrounds. As a sports therapist I would not hesitate to refer or recommend to my own client base, if they were in need of Anne-Marie  and James' help.

I have been attending yoga classes at the Yorkshire Centre for Wellbeing for about three years and cannot praise Anne-Marie and James enough.  They are both super knowledgeable, incredibly experienced and attentive.  The Centre is continually improving its range of activities and its appeal, which is fantastic.  There are a variety of classes to suit all levels and I particularly appreciate James' flexibility in allowing class members to switch nights, if they are unable to make their regular class.  This is very helpful to be as I work away from home lots.  Thank you both and keep up the excellent and valuable work!

I can't speak too highly of Anne Marie and James.  I began attending yoga sessions about three years ago As a beginner with a number of physical concerns, I wanted to develop a personal yoga practice with a spiritual dimension and the Centre provided exactly the support I needed.  From a very basic start I have gradually improved to the point where I am confident to perform complicated poses and practice daily wherever I am.  I am so grateful for the patience and encouragement of my experienced and dedicated teachers.  Classes are small and everyone gets individual attention.  The studio is a calm, peaceful, environment, and garden sessions in summer are wonderful.
