Visited last week for a birthday celebration and it was simply superb, amazing food, wine and service. I went to Drakes in Ripley a few times but I think I prefer Sorrel... and it's reasonably priced too!! I would recommend getting a table soon - before the Michelin stars start to rain down!!!

We enjoyed a fantastic evening at Sorrel last night. The food was beautifully presented, delicious and felt like an experience. The attention to detail is to be commended. Thank you

7 friends have just enjoyed a superb lunch at Sorrel and were so impressed with the imaginative presentation of the food. The ambience was great and the staff delightful. We shall be back!

Surpassed all expectations. The 9 course taster menu was an absolute feast - each course beautifully constructed. Excellent and varied wine menu and very friendly, helpful staff. I expected more stuffiness and formality from a restaurant of this calibre, but was actually very relaxed and had a wonderful evening.

An amazing food experience in a wonderful newly refurbished restaurant. The atmosphere was relaxed but efficient with friendly and knowledgeable staff. We had the 5 course menu with came with a number of extras that were very well explained by the staff and were delicately constructed and full of flavour. It is difficult to pick out a standout out dish but the scallop followed by the duck were highlights. The evening was topped off by a visit to the kitchen and a brief chat with Steve Drake. A memorable evening and with a monthly changing menu we will return.
