Great atmosphere, lovely pub, unfortunately service really brings the experience down. Arrived after work and as I walk in I could hear them ring the bell. They were still serving drinks to other customers but i was refused service. 1 drink after work, that's all I wanted. One of my friends ended up giving me his drink and we had a nice time but the staff definitely need some tips on customer service. Only reason to come back is the friendly people who make the atmosphere and the fact it's close to work.

Great staff. Good food at a good price. Lovely outdoor seating. It's a very quaint and full of character. There is a lovely snug area.

We had a good meal: a hearty meat pie and a delicious veggie curry.. The atmosphere was great as expected. The beer is mainly from Shepherds & Neam. One thing we were not accustomed to: to pay everything in advance, even though you had a meal.

Friendly service. Food ok pub grub good vegetables. Had few of the deserts on the adult menu. Good kids menu and kid friendly.
