Everything must go. Not sure why it must all go. They’ll be selling the same books in February whether they do or not. Some of the discounts are even more discounted. You might even save enough to poo over the road to the dreadful buffet mania. The shop has two floors. Books mostly downstairs. Good art department. You might find a more interesting selection of books over the road in WH Smith.

Used to be a Brilliant shop and was in there most days, then it was closed for a refit and when it re-opened it somehow became a little child's shop and apart from that section there is not much for people over 12 to buy!! And also looks like it's very cheaply made! All I can say is the refit and new stock has changed this from a great shop to a place I havnt stepped foot in this place for a long time now!

The Works is one of my favourite shops. So cheap and there are some real gems to be found in there! Caters for young and old alike. I like the crafty section (I'm getting into sewing and I already study art at DMU, so occasionally pop in to check out pens, pencils, brushes and sketchbooks), and the book options can be great, I collect travel and nature photography books and The Works is my go-to shop for these. They do other bits and bobs like colouring books, puzzles and games too, with some seasonal toys and such for the kids.

Always find good arts and craft supplies from here. Great place for buying gifts for creative friends and family.
